The only effective untried solution to the problem of drug-funded terrorism is to make opiates legal again, just as they were in America before 1900. That will have the same effect on global terrorism that repeal of alcohol prohibition had upon the US homicide rate.

The moral of the story is.................limit mooooslim immigration. Don't let them settle in our country and raise mosques.

Islam and the West are incompatible. Take it from me, a life-long resident of Dearborn(-istan), Michigan.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made or kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

There is no substitute for victory.

From my point of view it would have seemed logical to have gotten rid of these poppy fields years ago. We are only chasing our own tail if we don't. But I guess we're too moral, or stupid to do that which is logical. Not that I want to kill innocent Afghanis, I don't, but how many people's lives are taken or ruined by that opium. What about the morality of not doing something about the poppy fields. It seems clear to me that you locate the fields, you drop a note or even a "talking" card that says this place is going to be napalmed, or bombed, or whatever and if you don't get the heck out of dodge, so will you. You do it before the fields bloom, one after another, year after year. Supposedly drugs are against the Islamic faith. I guess they can do whatever they like as long as it is for the good (spread) of Islam. Like I say, Boy are we STUPID!!!

Couldn't they make money off the new crops instead of the drug trade? Targeting the trafficker seems logical but perhaps both should be done.
