It involved a DEA undercover agent who was working undercover in ELA and negotiating a drug purchase from Los Tres-3 young Mexican thugs who ambushed the agent, shot him and left him permanently crippled-all in an attempt to rob him. Canales survived and was able to continue his career as a supervisor and I had the pleasure of working for him for several months. Yet the leftist community activists and the LA media rallied to the side of the shooters and made up a story about ther agent bringing drugs intop the community. It was shameful. Which architect will design the new headquarters building for this party?<br><br>Why are we so prone to repeating history? Why do we fail to learn from our mistakes? Why do we do the same things over and over and expect the results to be different? By "we" I mean humanity in general. Somehow the US has managed to be excluded from this "we" until now, which has been a remarkable accomplishment indeed.<br><br>But, it appears, we have finally been seduced into believing the same lies that have destroyed, or will destroy, other peoples, cultures and countries.
