		<description>Here&#039;s hoping Snow and Lincoln vote no.  I sincerely hope this bill faces a quick and harsh death on the senate floor, if only for the reason that nobody wants it.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It&#039;s a sign of arrogance, when the lawmakers think they can force people to accept a law they don&#039;t want to, or think they will be able to collect enough money to fund it.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I, for one, will never go on the government dole, nor do I want them to fund my medical care.  I don&#039;t trust them any further than I can throw them.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;If they want to do something good, pass a law that allows portability and lets insurance companies cross state lines.</description>

		<description>If new federal spending programs are a bad idea in a recession, why are they a good idea in better times?&lt;br&gt;The federal government has the duties, responsibilities and authority granted by the Constitution. It is restricted by actual prohibitions in the Constitution, but it is only permitted what is explicitly stated in the Constitution. That doesn&#039;t include health care, retirement systems or wars on poverty. If these things are government business at all, they are the business of state governments.</description>
