Glenn Beck?
One of the recurring motifs in NewsReal blogger Kathy Shaidle’s routine dissections of leftist media watch dog Media Matters has been that it cannot identify when a conservative is joking.
Terry “Con Web Watch” Krepel again falls into this pattern, commenting at Media Matters on Kathy’s rebuttal to a Media Matters item smearing Glenn Beck’s mother:
But that was too much for some. At NewsReal, the group blog at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, Kathy Shaidle was unhappy that we committed such a horrible act, going on to falsely suggest that we claimed “Glenn Beck is modeling his life and career on that of fellow Washingtonian… Kurt Cobain.” (Shaidle also asserted that “billionaire leftist” George Soros “bankrolls Media Matters.” He doesn’t.)
Terry… Kathy was joking about the Cobain comparison. Hence why she didn’t quote you guys saying that. I know you have to be all super serious and boring since you and Media Matters are supposedly a “watchdog” (attack dog is more like it,) but at NewsReal we encourage our bloggers to have a sense of humor. And Kathy certainly has that. Sorry you can’t handle it.
This new post only goes to demonstrate further something I’d discussed several weeks ago: Terry is a perfect example of the Humorless Left.
