More on the above: We all need to vet any and all candidates on this issue. Every candidate needs to pass this test or he flunks. Another candidate brushed off the question with the reply that he didn't see it as a “Big” problem.

A few months ago I went to a “meet the candidate” event. The only question I had for him was on the subject of Muslims in America and what can we do to stop them. He shrugged and said that he thinks they will probably take over because out constitution and laws protect them and there's not much we can do. I gaped at him and then he realized he'd said the wrong thing. I said, well, we need someone that can figure that out. Haven't seen or heard of him since. Hope he gave up or at least wised up.

The following is why I have so little respect for my party, the Republican party. President George W. Bush lied about the enemy with the full backing of the GOP leadership. Politico reports the following today:

“Four Republican lawmakers have accused the most prominent Islamic advocacy group in Washington of trying to plant “spies” as interns on Capitol Hill…..

In an unusual announcement this morning, four conservative Republicans — Reps. John Shadegg (Ariz.), Paul Broun (Ga.), Trent Franks (Ariz.) and Sue Myrick (N.C.) — formally asked the House Sergeant at Arms to launch an investigation of the Center for American-Islamic Relations. They accused CAIR, a non profit group, of trying to infiltrate Capitol Hill with interns and staffers.

Shadegg said Wednesday that CAIR is an organization that “members of Congress should be aware of and that should be investigated by the Justice Department and Internal Revenue Service…..”

The claim was quickly denounced as “racist” and “insidious” by the Council on American Islamic Relations, and THE EFFORT APPEARS TO HAVE LITTLE SUPPORT FROM GOP LEADERS.” (emphasis mine)

Excellent Article, Mr. Pipes. I sincerely hope that this information is being constantly filtered into the Files of the FBI, Homeland Security, the AG's office and to each of our Congressmen and Senators.

It amazes me that CAIR continues to play an active role in subverting America. It's time for them to be prosecuted.

This news abut CAIR and the book Muslim Mafia is the best news I have heard for weeks. We all knew what they were up to but now there is proof. We need J. Edgar Hoover now more than ever in the U.S.
