So let me get this straight. Anybody who is critical of Israeli foreign policy is seeking to destroy Israel and is in fact a 'self-hating Jew'?
I would have thought that those who seek to silence any disenting voices and to assume some sort of omniscience and divine right when looking at Israel's policies was more likely to do long-term damage to the homeland than those who seek to constructively criticise.
I find Levin's monomania regarding Jewish supposed self-hatred to be disingenuous. Why does he keep assuming that there is some sub-conscious shame behind people's Jewish identity?

Dear Sirs,
I, who live in Israel am a holocaust survivor, and would just to tell you that, however frustrating the voices of our ENEMIES within are, they can't be stopped. All of them have been given the State of Israel on a silver platter they had the right to study and live as free human beings. I can hear the chorus THEY, the hollocuat survivers who have sad tales to tell -THEY are obslite – same old tales. Well i'd like them to remember that NO JEWS was allowed to study in Europe because of numero nullus at universtities in Eastern Europe so they studied in Germany, Chekoslovakia and France. The more learned they became the more assimilated they became but it didn't help them very much to become Germans or Russians they were persecuted and murdered like the rest of us. Jabotinsky once said the Jews are like bicycle riders; they tread on the once that don't think like them and they lick the ones above.
Not so long ago the left was communist what is today's left?? protesters, they just protest what the Jewish State does but, believe me they're looked down upon by those they try to convince of their loyalty against their own state. No one admires those who fould their own nest.
Were Israel to do anything about it they would shout BLOODY MURDER!! FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!!! (like in Russia – Iran etc>). All one can do is identify and ignore them. They do harm to our country because they're quoted by lecturers and the press but in Israel their voice is small and irrelevant.

What the Left never tell you is that most of the original socialists were hardcore racists and anti-Semites (and still are). Karl Marx, of course, is the most famous, but they all equate Judaism with capitalism.

The only way socialism could ever be implemented (and the socialists know this) is by erasing peoples' “false consciousness” and replacing it with pure leftism. It's no coincidence, therefore, that socialism has always been closely aligned with eugenics, internment camps and other forms of backdoor slavery like political correctness.

Great interview and very informative! In as much as I have a special love for the Jewish people, this article (interview) helped fill a void in my understanding. It goes a long way toward helping me to have a clearer perception of the reason that some within the jewish population, fail to be mutually supportive of each other. As I see it, the core of Leftist thought rests on the idea that utopia will be established only when society is finally homogenized and egalitarian. There will then no longer be any economic, ethnic, religious or cultural differences to distinguish one from another. All social asperities will have been smoothed away by the sandpaper of socialism. Nothing left to fight about. Secular Jewish intellectuals, since at least the time of Marx, have been the main force driving this ideology (tikkun olam?). But both Jews and non-Jews are unwittingly separated by this ideological boundary which, paradoxically I think, goes unperceived by the majority of us..

For believers, all nation states must be eliminated in the interest of this homogenizing process. U.S. sovereignty is currently being compromised by open border advocates and Constitution abrogators. Israel is under siege for the same reason: It is seen by the anti-zionists as a retrograde step in their fanciful crusade to homogenize the world. IMHO.

I find it offensive to say that a Jew can only convert to Christianity out of 'gain' and that such a conversion is an 'abandonment' of Judaism for some or other low reason. As a Jewish convert to Catholicism and ardent supporter of Israel, I've yet to see the Rabbinate from Reform to Orthodox confront as plainly as the Pope did the nature of Islam (quoting a 14th century writer). “Whatever is new in Islam is evil…” That was carefully stated in a low-key way but is the spiritual equivalent of an atomic bomb.

None of the anti Semites mentioned here has much to fear from Islam as long as they are in the US and to an extent in Israel. They have no real reason for fear and thus should not have the Helsinki syndrome.
The Helsinki syndrome is far more prevalent amongst European Americans which causes them to suffer, for example, affirmative action discrimination with out a strong united program to extinguish it.

Not only is the entire series superb in its reporting and in the goals it reaches, but this particular interview is brilliantly presented.
Psychologically, the points detailed in the entire series are all centered upon centuries old twisted beliefs which help the hate grow from generation to generation.
Hate is directly related to jealousy, ignorance, crime, violence, bigotry and abuse.
Often the hatred is driven by feelings of inferiority which the offenders subconsciously disguise through overcompensation by, self righteousness. Psychologically approaching the issue is only a key to understanding the underpinnings of the hostility. Mr. Obama et al, would say that education is needed to help the bigots learn the truth. That is the leftists' way of masking indecision and avoidance, while hundreds of years pass.
The haters are never going to abruptly halt their attacks, look heavenward and say, “We have seen the light, our hate is unfounded.” They will never change. The best way to change them is to retaliate with the violence they use but greatly fear. Death will change them permanently.

Since we have known that phenomenon why is it that we do not seem able to set up mechanisms of self defense including but not limited to extricating and disposing those that we call unJews and why we do not do so in an exemplary way?
