And the writer continues this "war" imagery throughout. FPM is trying to create the very thing they are criticizing. Fox is not news anymore. Sure it's the channel of choice if you want to hear about random child abductions somewhere in the country, but they have declared themselves the opposition party.<br><br>So it goes...now they are going to be treated as what they are....and WHHHAAAAAAAAAAAA is basically FPM's position. Kudos to Glenn Beck, Hannity, Brit Hume, Laura Ingelham, Michell Malkin, Karl Rove, Frank Gaftney and many, many others. But if Fox would be less entertainment and more news instead of running the real news as a scrolling banner below the talking heads; IF Fox would leave looping celebrities, crime and all that inane fluff they fill the time with(like Michael the pediphile Jackson) et al and give its audience and viewers a level of analysis and understanding that is just a step above the rudimentary, Fox could be a real force for renewal. Just because it's the only game in town, so to speak, should not lull them into being complacent. If something with more quality appears, Fox will find the loss of significant viewership in favor of a news provider that better meets our needs for real news and analysis. Loyalty must be won daily.
