Looking at the past week, one can see how resilient Pakistanis have become. Suffering numerous suicide bomb attacks and wide-spread military action, we are here yet again, still standing. But how long can we sustain ourselves at this current rate of demolition? How many times will we resist smacking the hammer on our own foot? Nowadays we seem to have become the offspring of Glenn Beck and the Republican Party. With a constant denial of the harsh reality and a love for misconstruing and fabricating baseless facts that just aim to maim the United States, we seem to be struggling. And when we struggle, we play the role of a secluded, spoilt child.

http://ahraza.wordpress.com/2009/11/03/the-hear...

Those who idolize and worship Barack Obama could care less whether we fail in Afghanistan. They will blame the failure on Bush, as will Obama himself and his political slaves. The MSM will likewise finger Bush or some other culprit for the failure while absolving Obama and keeping his sainthood in tact. The way these sycophants play the game is becoming pretty obvious.

So, will losing in Afghanistan hurt Obama politically? Why would it hurt him any more than the already numerous and mounting failures he has experienced since taking office? We need to understand that the adulation of his followers is akin to that Muslim Jihadists have for Mohammed. As Mohammed can do no wrong, so the same applies to Obama. The radical statists have found their Beloved Leader just like the Soviets found theirs in Stalin and the Communist Chinese in Mao - and they are not about to abandon him - NO MATTER WHAT HE DOES OR HOW OFTEN HE FAILS.

Obama can only be kicked off his throw by patriotic, conservative, principled Americans to whom he is a traitor and a fraud. If we don't do it, it won't happen, regardless of his dastardly pathetic performance.

Good article.
Obama is clearly dithering here. Gauging if his hard left base will bale on him if he supports his generals.

Afghanistan is important. Pakistan more so. Pakistan is finally attacking the Taliban and Obama is dithering. This is not good.
