		<description>When you have borrowed enough from a bank that if you do not pay it back you can collapse the bank you have actually become a partner of the bank. Such was a tactic that Rupert Murdoch used to get even greater loans from his bankers. If they refused Rupert could have collapsed which would have brought the bank down also.&lt;br&gt;What if we did not pay China back ? China would have a big problem. They have no choice but to keep loaning to the US.</description>

		<description>The question arises as to why China and others continue to buy American debt.   The obvious answer is that to jump ship would be very costly.  The second reason is that they are fairly certain that we will take steps to attend to the matter.  Should they become convinced that we have no intention of attending to the problems of debt like reviving the economy or cutting spending but will continue to rely on inflation then watch out!!</description>
