[1] Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab is on a terrorist watch list and banned from the U.K. His father has warned U.S. authorities about him. He has no passport, checks no luggage and pays for a one-way ticket in cash. He is allowed to board Northwest Airlines Flight 253.
[2] Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano goes on TV after the Christmas day terror attempt and announces that “the system worked” and that “everything happened that should have.”
[3] The next day, the Secretary goes back on TV to explain her words were taken “out of context” and admits that the “system did not work in this instance.”
[4] Napolitano is not fired.
[5] After staying silent for three days while playing golf in Hawaii , Obama makes his first statement: He declares, despite all evidence to the contrary, that the al-Qaeda trained Abdulmutallab is “an isolated extremist.” The President refers to him as a “suspect.”
[6] The “suspect” is charged, lawyered up and given the right to remain silent — instead of being treated as an enemy combatant, thrown into a dungeon, and interrogated about other plots, al-Qaeda in general and the whereabouts of his al-Qaeda handlers in particular.
[7] The administration fails to use the word “jihad” in dealing with this terror attack by al-Qaeda and to admit that the U.S. is at war with Islamic terrorists who are inspired by certain tenets of Islamic theology.
[8] A policy of profiling is not immediately instituted for airline security.
[9] Obama does not announce his decision to keep Guantanamo open and to stop sending its detainees back to Yemen .
[10] Obama remains in office.

Of all the egregious errors the author enumerated number 10 is surely the greatest tragedy. It's time for Americans to call for Barack Hussein Obama's resignation.
Jamie – you summed it up perfectly this time re: the Almighty O. (He is so NOT Almighty…) Os actions speak louder than words!! The fact that O took nearly 3 days to comment, and another 6-7 days to return to Washington DC proves his incompetency …If George Bush had done this, the media would have ripped him a new one…but in Os case, he again gets a FREE PASS to do nothing….It's another feather in the hat for O – the most incompetent President to ever step into the Whitehouse. He and all his cronies are communists at heart. A true travesty.
Instead of our leaders showing grief and asking forgiveness for our military murdered at Fort Hood (it was known for quite some time that the Muslim killer was a significant terrorist threat), the government let us know that their BIGGEST concern was that there might be a back lash against Muslims.
It is quite evident that the Administration are more concerned about securing the safety of Muslim terrorists than they are in protecting innocents. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but almost ALL terrorists are Muslims. As one person commented: Discriminate or DIE. It appears Obama and our government prefer that we die.

The Department of Homeland Security
took a Muslim group with known past ties to terror organizations on a VIP tour of security operations at the nation's busiest airport at the same time British authorities were working to break up a plot to blow up U.S. airlines.
On June 21, a senior DHS official from Washington personally guided Muslim officials from the Council on American-Islamic Relations on a behind-the-scenes tour of Customs screening operations at O'Hare International Airport in response to CAIR complaints that Muslim travelers were being unfairly delayed as they entered the U.S. from abroad.
CAIR is a spin-off of the Islamic Association for Palestine, identified by two former FBI counterterrorism chiefs as a “front group” for the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.
Several CAIR leaders have been convicted on terror-related charges.
During the airport tour, CAIR was taken on a walk through the point-of-entry, Customs stations, secondary screening and interview rooms. In addition, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents were asked to describe for CAIR representatives various features of the high-risk passenger lookout system.

A new video released by the Christian Action Network shows Muslim women at a compound in New York state practicing throat-slitting techniques and assault weapons attacks.
The video was distributed by the makers of the movie “Homegrown Jihad: The Terrorist Camps Around the U.S.,” which documents how a jihadist group has developed dozens of training camps across the nation.
WND reported at the time how Jamaat ul-Fuqra has built 35 compounds – mostly in the northeastern corridor of the U.S.
…The U.S. State Department's 1998 “Patterns of Global Terrorism” report notes the organization “seeks to purify Islam through violence.”
The report continued, “Members have purchased isolated rural compounds in North America to live communally, practice their faith and insulate themselves from Western culture. Fuqra members have attacked a variety of targets that they view as enemies of Islam.”
CAN, led by Martin Mawyer, has researched Muslims of America for years and has provided its video to the FBI, State Department and Homeland Security. To date, there has been no response from the government, the group said.
…”Gilani has stated he is preparing his members to the Soldiers of Allah, and he's set up the most advanced guerrilla warfare training camps,” he said.
The organization's “Homegrown Jihad” video includes a chilling scene of Jamaat ul-Fuqra's leader Sheikh Mubarak Gilani telling followers to “act like you're his friend. Then kill him.”
According to the Religion of Peace website, there have been more than 250 jihad attacks by Muslims around the globe – including two inside the U.S. – in just the last two months.The death toll from the attacks has surpassed 1,400, the report says.

It is clear Washington have no problem with Muslim terror attacks and are committed to NOT protecting the public. With the full knowledge that almost ALL terror attacks are committed by Muslims, Washington is vehemently opposed to profiling Muslims.

16) That we haven't made it clear the next time one of these Islamist creeps so much as sneezes in our direction we will reserve the right to take out Mecca at our discretion.
17) That the United States hasn't officially declared war on Islamic Terror, and that we will win this war, and that we will use every tool at our disposal to effect this victory in 48 hours, if need be. Americans deserve to be safe from murderous, religious thugs whom we've done nothing to except prop up their oil economies.
18) That we continue to insist that Islam is not a warrior religion, and beyond the fact that it is a Monotheistic faith that it shares no common features with the American Judeo-Christian dynamic, not the least because of its humiliation and subjugation of women.

On talk radio someone also remarked that the jihadist boarded the plane without a visa to the United States. Now who flies from Nigeria to Detroit on Christmas day with a ONE WAY Cash paid ticket, without luggage, without a visa, without knowing anyone in the Detroit area, without ever having been in the US before without winter clothes,….in the middle of the winter? It is amazing NO ONE said, “Wait a minute, this guy ain't gettin' on that jet!” Also he was not thoroughly searched or questioned while he fit every profile available for someone requiring extra attention. In the book “Dereliction of Duty” Lt. Col. Robert Patterson states: “By failing to answer the threat as it should have, the Clinton administration was guilty of gross negligence and dereliction of duty to the safety of our country, which the president was sworn to defend.” (p. 132)
If Clinton was guilty of “gross negligence and dereliction of duty” then what words describe the complete ineptness and disregard of the Obama administration?
The American people elected Obama to change course and make a possitive impact on our interests abroad thus defusing the hatred towards us gained through the Bush Administration policies in part.

.1 Distance ourselves from being Israel's alley:The State of Israel has been a huge problem sense its development in the late forties. It has been at war ever sense and the international community, England and the U.S. specifically, didn't accurately measure the consequences of stealing land from the Palistine People and therefore infuriating the Muslim world in general. The steps following distancing ourselves from the State of Israel is to eventually let Israel care for itself. We shouldn't attempt to make peace between Israel and its enemies.
If we completely cut off our support for Israel, then we will no longer be attached to this mistake and if all out war breaks out between the Muslim world and Israel, then it is their problem and not ours. — enough is enough.
I don't agree that we should be spending more or even near equal on Israel and their problems as to what we need to spend on our families here in the U.S. so that they can earn a decent living and be able to afford decent health care.
It isn't right the citizens of Israel have state sponsored health insurance and Americans can't even aford to heat their homes let alone see a doctor.
.2 Stop our dependence on foreign oil and cooperate with other countries that buy oil and other resources from Iran and all M.E. countries. — Then Israel will be surrounded by only sand n*gers that own oil that is barely worth the cost of pumping. There won''t be wealthy Muslim fanatics to finance the exploitation of the poor Muslims thus strapping a bomb on them.
Just like Republicans that are quick to volunteer our boys to the slaughter house for the purpose of lining their pockets, the Muslims will not longer have anything to cry about — except Israel of course and they shouldn't be our problem.

Mr. Sowell's comment never applied more than to the Obama administration. They have 'clarification' sessions at the White House on a daily basis. That's what happens when you sit on your brains instead of using them.
