If your are a historian, you are blatantly misstating what Christian actions versus the Islamic world.

Particularly suspect is your denigration of those projecting a Islamist threat! If you have had the slightest exposure to the Koran/Quran you would be all to well aware of the guidance given to true believers in how to deal with infidels! Why would you try to downplay fact and reality – unless you are part and parcel of the problem of religious fanaticism?!

A tad paranoid eh? Have you guys heard of projection and transference? Maybe feeing subconscious guilt?
I am a historian, so I see a trend here – we Christians bullied and invaded Muslim countries for centuries during the Crusades, now we (the West) occupy Saudi Arabia for its oil, and most of the Gulf countries are client states of the West with occupation armies, inevitably this led to Al Qaeda and the Taliban (well, wouldn't you become a freedom fighter if Europe or America was occupied by a Muslim army for decades?).
The other problem is religionism – fundamentaists and evangelicals are all the same type, whether Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, Muslim or Hindu. They all believe they have a divine right to the truth……………….
It's all a bit uncivilised and depressing, we humans haven't advanced psychologically in thousands of years!
Plus ca change ……………
If you believe in this Muslim conspiracy you are part of the problem, you just make the situation worse and perpetuate the myths and tensions (which is probably what our elected politicians want from you, it keeps you under their control).
Remember, what you fear most is what you will probably create……….

Governments are increasing ignoring intrinisc national values for the might of population and diminishing natural resources, especialy enegy from oil. They are quite prepared to sacrifice public opinion, Christianity, democracy and identity to be globalized. Population growth is the greatest threat to our survival, and deperation at the last surviving breaths of our planet is creating greed and betrayal of ideals.

According to Mark Steyn, Europeans are reproducing below the "replacement rate" — thus the average age of their populations is increasing sharply. If current trends continue, by 2050 one in three Germans and Italians will be over 65 years old.

Europe's Muslims, however, are multiplying at 5 times that of the Europeans — but they are not integrating culturally. Steyn argues that if European nations fail to culturally integrate Muslims, Europe faces profound political changes.

"As fertility dries up," he writes, "so do societies. Demography is the most obvious symptom of civilizational exhaustion, and the clearest indicator of where we're headed."

Islam cannot enjoy "political sovereignty" in Europe. Steyn adds: "Those lefties who bemoan what America is doing to provoke 'the Muslim world' would go bananas if any Western politician started referring to 'the Christian world.' When such sensitive guardians of the separation of church and state endorse the first formulation but not the second, they implicitly accept that Islam has a political sovereignty, too."

THere is a fast growing movement in America called the "Quiverfull" movement, already it is estimated that 10 million women have committed to having at least, at least, six children each!, many say that up to 30-40 million women will join the movement, if one does the math and connects the dots, it makes America's population net gain around 4.0, and it is already growing as well. I think Americans are going to be just fine.
