After all, Lenin was not the first to say give me a child at the age of seven and I will make him mine for life or words to that effect. A study of some of the 9/11 bombers and yes contrary to the websites, it really did happen, Mohammed Atta was westernized, intelligent, educated and you would have thought, civilized. Yet when the time came, he went through the traditional Islamic cleansing ritual, shaved his beard and went off to murder Americans. The lesson: we should not uncritically use cross-cultural transfer of hypotheses about human behavior. We are not necessarily talking about the Arab mind but the Islamic mind or Islamic mindset.
