And yet now Paul Ryan is presenting a budget wherein the retirement age is raised to 70 years of age. That is the same thing as raising taxes, we'll just paying in another way, into another account. That's why so many people see Republicans as hypocrites. If you wish to raise the expenses [or reduce their retirement benefits] of private citizenss, however you add it up, then you should, at the very least, refrain from pointing out another person's "faults".
