It's great that Somalia isn't a safe alternative, that means President Obama is allowing the US Military to continue to hunt and hit terrorists there. I wish he'd give me reason to credit him more often but understand he won't.

I think the election of the PPP, and the bombing campaign that culminated in the assassination of Bhutto with a baby bomb was the tipping point, that woke most Pakis to the monster they'd let in the house. It's also likely quite a few in the ISI were told by their new bosses their lives, not just their jobs, depended on taking down the mad dog they created, raised, and allowed to turn on Pakistan. It's not love for us, but self interest yielding a similar result (as in Iraq).

Interesting point of view! Maybe Gadahn is saying "Don't count on us to train you. Getting here is not as easy as it once was." Only problem I have is understanding the Pakistanis change of heart. Their cooperation in capturing and fighting terrorists is very much out of character and I wonder why they now seem willing to combat our enemies, basically their 'bretheren". Hopefully this is real and not some subterfuge on their part.
