On Monday morning a reporter contacted me to remonstrate with me for my treatment of the reporter in this video, in which I respond to a biased and misleading question by the Swedish reporter Per Gudmundson. The reporter thought I was too hard on Gudmundson, despite the “when did you stop beating your wife” quality of his question; however, I am finished with playing along with the grand pretense that reporters are objective, neutral observers of events, and not the relentless and viciously unfair ideologues that they are. Also on Monday, a minor Associated Press piece about some minor jihadists in Toledo, Ohio, offered a case in point as to why mainstream media journalists deserve no professional respect whatsoever.
Look first at the headline: “Federal judge in Toledo sentences 2 terror plotters.” Two “terror plotters” were sentenced. So far they could be anyone. Islamic jihadists? Maybe. Could also be “Christian extremists” (who will surely be along in a minute to bear out every well-indoctrinated schoolgirl’s desperate and paranoid fear of them). Or maybe Tamil Tigers. Maoist fanatics. You never know. So let’s read on.
TOLEDO — Two Chicago-area cousins who pleaded guilty to taking part in a plot to attack American soldiers overseas have been sentenced to prison terms by a federal judge in Ohio.
Ah. Now we’re getting somewhere. They were “Chicago-area cousins.” That seems to be the most important bit of information about them, because that’s what the AP reporter chose as the lead identifier for them. So did they take part in a “plot to attack American soldiers overseas” — maybe lazy recruits in a sleepy, outmoded, and no longer necessary Cold War outpost in Germany, for all we know from the story so far — because they were from the Chicago area? Is Chicago in rebellion against the United States government? Or is it that this is some sort of weird cousins’ plot, a Manson-family type thing?
Prosecutors say the two men were training to kill soldiers and had ties to three men in Toledo who were convicted of organizing the plot.
Ah. They were “men.” And they had ties to three other “men.” So maybe the problem here is males, the source testosterone. Extra screening for men in airports! Now!

Shall we expect reports where the two cousins suggest their plotting is not the issue. Destruction/elimination of a national entity, the product of the Balfour Declaration of 1948, would make their plotting, and that of many other cousins, unnecessary.
The Left is in alliance with Islam and the Left has also hijacked the so-called MSM. Hence, of course, they are going to conceal the truth as much as they can, as they are also part of the problem.
Nevertheless, Islam like Communism is a radical form of totalitarianism that seeks world domination, and the Global Jihad is the new Cold War of this century. Hence, just like we didn’t let millions of Communists immigrate and infiltrate into our country during the Cold war because it would have been suicidal, we shouldn’t be letting millions of Muslims immigrate and infiltrate our countries today because it is likewise suicidal.
With the West locked in conflicts across the Muslim world, why would anyone throw fuel on the fire?

There is a taboo against noting their Islamic religion despite the fact that they themselves cite the religion as a key justification. Imagine reporting a crime but omitting the self-professed motivation?
Of course, the left see the "root cause" as our foreign policy and hateful culture. We're too blame; we brought it on ourselves, say the leftists. Since (according to the left) we are the problem, it is considered bigoted to look at any attribute of the enemy.
The media is now complicit in attacking America. They are intellectually siding with the enemy and giving them the intellectual weapons.
Yes, the mainstream media (including the so-called "right wing" ones like Fox news) are all in bed with the religion of Islam. That is plainly obvious.
The big question is "why"?
The clear message of the Quran and Sunnah clearly undermine just about every principle of fundamental justice and morality that has made America a great and free country. Is it some pathological neurosis? Is it mass hysteria ala Hitler's Third Reich? What is the logical explanation for the mainstream media's inability to be objective and truthful on this critical issue?
Any ideas?
So the next question should be what are you going to do about the MSM?
Yes, God forbid we upset the apple cart and point out the pathologies of the Islamic culture. I am all for finding common ground and giving the everyday Muslim the benefit of the doubt, but remembering to stand up for basic human rights shouldn't be too hard.
The trouble is that the MSM, which btw includes Fox News as well as the usual culprits, is so in the bag of powerful people, so obsessed with getting behind the velvet rope and tipping cocktails with generals, CEOs, and White House staffers that they've lost their sense of purpose. These media outlets, unlike most internet-based outlets, are the only ones with the resources to properly report what's going on in the world. The problem is, those resources come with strings attached.
So instead, our media are really glorified P.R. services for our ersatz aristocracy. Worse, they seem to be proud of it. Sadly, we'll continue to play "liberal vs. conservative bias," fools that we are.
The corruption of the lame stream media is the single biggest problem this country now faces. It's an ideological bias that infects every sphere of American life; from national security to personal liberty and everything in between. Whether it's driven by political correctness or by agenda makes no difference as to it's ultimate malignancy.
I would say to Robert! Kudos!! If , in this day of up is down and black is white, you are receiving complaints from the media about your treatment of (A)bsolutely (P)athetic reporters that assuredly means you are doing it right!!!
The Los Angeles Times is as corrupt as any of them. It has whole long articles about Islamic terrorist incidents where it omits any words like "Islam," "Islamic," "Jihad," or the like, or any clue as to motive. The reader has to figure it out for himself from the names of the perps, their countries, etc.
Good for you, Robert! I have always felt you were much too mild in your dealings with the press. These people are nothing short of traitors. That's how they should be treated.

I also hope you could read my manuscript which has a lot of facts and examples regarding the Swedish media (of course one chapter about Aftonbladet that slandered you) between 2000 up to 2006. Maybe you and the FP writers/readers could find the information/analysis i gathered helpful in trying to understand what really has happened in Sweden
