Having worked with Elena Kagan at the Bill Clinton White House, I was inclined to see her as a political moderate, worthy of support as the best one could expect from the Barack Obama White House. But no more.
Thanks to the work of the Center for Security Policy Director Frank Gaffney and the writing of Andrew McCarthy of the National Review Institute, there has emerged a compelling reason to vote against Kagan’s confirmation as a Supreme Court justice: Her support for Shariah Law while she was dean of the Harvard Law School.
Islamists are seeking to spread Shariah law by inducing American and European financial institutions to establish Shariah Compliant Funds in which their clients can invest. These funds follow the prescriptions of Shariah law in their investments. They routinely collect 2.5 percent of the principal of any investment annually for donation to charitable institutions, fine recipients of their investment 7 percent for transgressions of Shariah law (and donate the fine to charity) and only invest in projects compliant with the rules of Shariah.
Unfortunately, the decisions as to which investments are compliant and which charities receive their benefice are made by Shariah Compliance Boards appointed by the financial institution, which typically include radical Muslim extremists who routinely designate terrorist-linked entities to receive their charitable donations and also proscribe investment in any firm engaged in U.S. defense contracting on the ground that the contract could aid Israel.

However, attacks on it should use correct facts. The annual zakat (charity) fee is 2.5% of income,not principal. The fine for non-compliant investment is the individual shareholder profits from that investment which must be paid for purification.
What I find most frightening is the lack of education that exists in our country regarding the basic tenants of Islam, especially among our politicians. If measures are not taken to ensure that the U.S. Constitution is the law of the land, the U.S. will begin to look more and more like Europe. What politicians don’t seem to realize is that Sharia is political and has very little to with religion. By bending over backwards to be religiously tolerant, we are allowing for the imposition of one of the most intolerant political ideologies that exist and certainly the most dangerous.

Or that our dealings with AIG under the tarp provisions we must be Sharia compliant. There is even a Board that oversees Sharia compliant actions at AIG. Did you know that all the big banks like Goldman and Morgan stanley also adhere to Sharia Law? Think this is a joke. Google it. Now we find that Obama has sent millions over to Odinga in Kenya to promote the "Yes" campaign to make abortion part of their Constitution while funneling money to an Al Qaeda organization which is totally illegal under our sovereignty. put the dots together and you will see where obama is going with our government. As soon as he opens his mouth he betrays that image. He is no more a Conservative as I am a Muslim – and I'm not. What is needed in Europe is for one nation – a small one to go Sharia. The Liberals and Marxists would be the first ones to scream and it would send a rude wakeup call to all the other nations not just in Europe but in the Western World. She seems to try to be balanced which could explain her position on Sharia law at the time she wrote the thesis. What little research I have done on this subject seems to suggest that this is just the typical hot air partisanship that we go through before senate hearings before any substantial nomination. Many suggest that she leans one way or the other to promote balance in the argument thus giving the claim in question due process. Maybe we should examine issues that she argued against sharia law or for pro Judaism in such issues.
I believe the oath she will take if confirmed only says to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and nothing about foreign law of any laws derived from any religion or religious text. It is not partisanship, it is a pass by Liberals for someone who is a judicial activist without any bench experience whatsoever, and also in her own words, regards the Constitution as secondary to precedent, therefore is really minimally if not unqualified for the Supreme Court.
