To pass cap and trade or amnesty for illegal immigrants, or the repeal of the secret ballot in union elections? These issues have come and gone without any action even when Obama’s rubber-stamp Senate and House majorities would have passed them.
To create jobs? Unemployment persists, and the evidence suggests a double-dip recession is coming.
And while liberals have increasing reason to question Obama’s performance on their litmus test issues, they also have increasing cause to wonder at his competence. His inability to be anything but a spectator — and a sometimes disinterested one at that — to BP’s efforts to contain its oil spill and his obvious mismanagement of the Afghan War both raise questions about his abilities, concentration, focus and competence. These doubts further depress Democratic turnout and prospects.
With such scant reason to turn out and vote for Democrats in November, the additional evidence that the war in Afghanistan is turning into a quagmire will further depress the president’s prospects.
The most recent Gallup Poll showed that while 51 percent of Republicans described themselves as “very enthusiastic” about voting in the coming midterm elections, only 28 percent of Democrats shared that level of commitment. The prospects for a Democratic turnout grow dimmer by the week and the chances of a Republican victory, capturing both houses of Congress, grow stronger.

I know a way to kill off whatever remaining idiots that there are than think that this man knows what he is doing, and that he actually deserves to be where he is. This is not about race, and although the idiots that are screaming that, and the reason that they are is he is sucking to high heaven right now. So they do not have a leg to stand on, and whats worst is that he actually will go on TV, and talk-shows, and lie through his teeth about things. Here is the thing that will little savior of America. On national TV have him tell all America the answer to this question—Mr. President you are the CEO of a major company, and you just lost one of the largest clients in the history of your company, now what will you be able to do to meet your payroll, and it is coming due in three days? This man has never ran a company, and the best of all the people that he has decided that he wanted on his quote–TEAM are nothing more than tax cheats. Give me a break. Is this the way we run "OUR" nation now. Tax cheats telling everybody else how to life, and what taxes are due, and when to pay them. The farmer gets better prices, escapes the brutality of the Taliban and learns to trust Americans. Losing the war in Afghanistan is just another casualty of the stupid War on Drugs.

There is another way to get our point across and not lose one more american life to this war. Threaten the Taliban with carpetting the mosques with pork rinds. Everytime they get out of line with a peaceful intent then we take out a mosque with pork rinds. C-17's can carry a lot of pork rinds. If they want to live in Mohammed times let them figure out what to do with a mosque that has been inumdated with pork rinds. I like the biblical story about "manna from heaven". Plus the Gentiles will love to eat the left overs.
