Who are the Real Racists?

How does one discredit the massive back-to-the-values-that-made-this-country-great rally in Washington at the National Mall?

Easy. Call Glenn Beck, the leader and organizer of the rally, a “racist” — as does former Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean.

What makes Beck a racist? The question presupposes the need for a reason.

Ever heard of Journolist? Apparently, neither have network news anchors Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric and Brian Williams — none of whom saw fit to spend one second reporting on this astonishing story.

Journolist was a confidential Listserv of 400 members of the media. It included people from Time, The Huffington Post, The Guardian, The New Republic, The Nation and other outlets. No Journolist member was a conservative. (Liberals would give a confidential Listserv of conservative media a somewhat different name: The Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy.)

Journolist was founded and run by a Washington Post blogger. It was exposed by The Daily Caller and written about on NewsBusters.org and by Andrew Breitbart, who offered $100,000 for a complete Journolist archive. Shortly after this exposure, Journolist was shut down.

What was the purpose of Journolist?

The most innocuous explanation — offered by a writer for the left-wing New Republic — is that it was a mere “chat room” where people would yak about stuff like the NBA finals or where a Journolister working on a piece could solicit suggestions for an expert. Big deal.

The most sinister explanation is that it served as a forum/echo chamber for liberals to strategize with other liberals on how to advance their agenda, craft arguments and discredit conservatives. Paranoia, you say?

Recall that during the 2008 presidential campaign, Barack Obama’s candidacy was rocked by YouTube videos of his unhinged, America-denouncing, whitey-condemning, anti-Semitic pastor of 20 years, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Several Journolist members cried Mayday! and traded e-mails on how to control the damage.

Spencer Ackerman’s Huffington Post bio describes his position with The Washington Independent as “senior reporter.” This Journolist “journalist” offered this game plan: “If the right forces us all to either defend Wright or tear him down, no matter what we choose, we lose the game they’ve put upon us. Instead, take one of them — Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares (emphasis added) — and call them racists.” You know, eenie, meenie, minie, moe.

To be fair, some lefties actually want a plausible reason to call someone a racist. So, what makes Beck one?

Who are the real racists? The guys in your picture.

Suppose Glen Beck was prejudiced against Blacks. If this were true, it doesn't necessarily mean that he is wrong in his facts, such as about Van Jones, one of Obama's czars, being a communist. I don't think Glen is prejudiced, and if he is, he keeps it quiet.
I do know conservatives who are prejudiced against blacks, but even they seem to get along with some blacks, and also admire some blacks. Its human nature to make generalizations, and its human nature to suspect other groups sometimes.
My feeling is, that the left just uses the 'racist' name-calling as a substitute for debate.

The Left is devoid of ideas – other than take from the rich, and they use name-calling like children. They have nothing constructive to say on any front. It's all about emotions and ginning up hate.

  4. sflbib says:

"Why does the media have amnesia about the racial derangement and anti-Semitism of black leaders?"

Because liberals believe that your morality depends on which political causes you support.

Both those guys in the picture have made a career out being racists. They owe their incomes, their homes, their families, everything to being racists and exploiting racism in this country. They are nothing more, or less than, parasites on an imperfect society that, no matter how hard it tries to improve, or the progress made, will always be to them, and others like them, racist. Such a shame, all the energy, time, and money spent stuck in the racist rut. This country is so much better than them.

  6. USMCSniper says:

First of all, racism is about the dispensing of and/or witholding of privileges and/or punishments based on a person's race. I guess that makes all you liberals blatant racists by definition. As for the Black Community, their anger is self imposed self hatred by race baiters like Jeremiah Wright, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Maxine Waters, and Louis Farrakann.

  7. Samurai Hit Woman says:

Racism is monkey business. When a monkey from one monkey tribe enters another monkey tribe he risks being torn apart.

People are tribal too and when a person from one tribe enters another tribe he runs a risk too.

Civilization provides a monicum of cover but, only a true religion, like Biblical Christianity. can put the monkey in us back in its cage.

The Left has made a holy cow of black people so they get a pass when they act like monkeys.

  8. Shawn says:

I like to call it Al Sharpton's "Race Industry"

  9. Davidka says:

Sharpton and Jackson (his admitted role model) should have been in prison years ago. A less corrupt news media would have exposed them and then ignored their antics, rather than booming them. Jackson made a career of shaking down corporations and government agencies. Sharpton got his start in the notorious Tawana Brawley case, where he promoted a false story, that he knew to be false, that whites had tortured a black girl. Yet how often do you ever hear the media allude to these facts, let alone give the details?

  10. Richrd0001 says:

If a "conservative" notes that blacks commit a greater number of interracial crimes than do whites and points this out, he's a racist. If there is one (1) example of a black committing a crime against another black, that disproves the conservative's "stereotype." The objective is to get the conservative only to draw conclusions about human behavior in the aggregate and never to craft public policy based on his perception of actual differences in behavior.

It's as though a man who begins to note that certain plants have a tendency to cause itchy blisters to form where they contact the skin must confine his subsequent behavior to what can be concluded from leafy green vegetation in general. Which is to say, to something of no practical use whatsoever. Marching into vegetation of whatever kind only wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt is thus not only reasonable within the established rule but commendable.

On the other hand, if one (1) Christian ever put a zippo to a pile of sticks under the feet of a heretic or witch, it's a liberal holy writ that the whole of Western Civilization is a putrid corpse of hypocrisy, racism, alienation, and rapacious capitalism. Jot and tittle.

According to Rev.AL and Rev.Jackson all white people are racists. We can not say anything about blacks without being labled a racist.Rev Al and Rev Jackson are in a worlr of the super racists..They mock Rev.King's beliefs.

They are what is keeping this country behind by dragging the racism BS into every conversation. If they were ever to get up and talk about the successes that we've accomplished and say thank you to America and Americans they would have to sell their mansions and get rid of their limo drivers. Racism is what has made these people rich and famous. If they started telling the truth, they would put themselves out of business. ALL of America would be better off if these race mongers would retire.

The article photo was probably taken at the All Corrupt Racists All The Time Corporation board meeting. Race-baiting, extortion, violence, corruption, money laundering, and slavery are their exports.

  14. Barry Cooper says:

I recently got booted off the Daily Cause, for asking repeatedly that someone either justify the epithet "teabagger" or show me evidence that the Tea Party movement was racist. I've linked my Diary page on my name. The last entry did it, but the one before it set the stage.

For anyone who doubts the fundamental moral and mental bankruptcy of the Left–to be clear, many of the posters on there have graduate degrees, and include such luminaries of the Left as George Lakoff–read the responses to my post. What you will not see is rational dialogue, or even an attempt at a semblance of it.

They have a charming tool called, HR'ing, which I think stands for "Hide Response", by means of which if two people decide they don't like you, and nobody stands up for you, any and all comments you make simply disappear.

November is coming. As Curchill said something like,"It's not the beginning of the end, it's the end of the beginning", This will be the first step in reclaiming the country from the immoral and twisted haters of America. No more having the state dept. telling the inHuman Rights Council (Cuba, Libya etc), no more bowing to the Saudi dictator, no more showing the soles of his shoes to the Prime Minister of Israel. 2012 and the next presidential election will be the end of the sad time in America. Obama will lose at least 48 states unless the Republicans self destruct.
