New York Times Conspiracy Nuts Attack Tea Party Movement As A Right-Wing Uprising

The New York Times hates the Tea Party Movement. It scorns Glenn Beck for encouraging people to educate themselves about what the U.S. Constitution actually says or to understand what the Founding Fathers intended the constitutional republic they created to look like by reading their writings in the Federalist Papers.
With its usual snootiness, The Times looked down on those folks “who began listening to Glenn Beck” and “with his guidance,”
explored the Federalist Papers, exposés on the Federal Reserve, the work of Ayn Rand and George Orwell. Some went to constitutional seminars.
Going to constitutional seminars. How downright radical is that?
This shocking revelation appeared yesterday in The Times’ front page article on the Tea Party Movement, which was packed with so many other tidbits of drivel, innuendo and guilt by association accusations that it took two other complete pages of the front section to complete.
The Times’ conspiracy theorists were out in force, accusing the members of the Tea Party Movement of either being disaffected right wing-nuts themselves or linking up with fanatical “militant” groups who were ready to overthrow the government.
Tea Party events have become a magnet for other groups and causes – including…militia organizers, the “birthers” who doubt President Obama’s citizenship, Lyndon LaRouche supporters and proponents of the sovereign states movement
The Times is trying to de-legitimize an entire peoples’ movement by focusing on a small minority of extremist hanger-ons. Its article said nothing about the peaceful demonstrations by many thousands of ordinary citizens last year or the recent National Tea Party Convention in Nashville, which was a civics lesson in decorum and democracy at work.
The Times conspiracy nuts only have their knives out for the ‘vast right-wing conspiracy’ they so despise. When it comes to organizations on the Left like Moveon.org, The New York Times is in bed with them. Remember when it ran a full page ad for Moveon.org at a discount price attacking the patriotism of one of our most distinguished generals?
“General Petraeus or General Betray Us?”
The New York Times’ real beef is not with the Tea Party Movement. It is with the Founding Fathers and their Constitution of limited government, which many in the Tea Party Movement simply want to restore.
