Calling Mayor Bloomberg a “bleeding heart white liberal,” Raheel Raza of the Muslim Canadian Congress shows us what a moderate Muslim must look like.  She rejects the idea that the mosque at Ground Zero is  meant to “build bridges,” and questions where Imam Rauf is getting the money to fund this mosque.

Raza gets it.  Just because you have the right to build it, doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do.  It’s pathetic that it takes a Canadian Muslim to speak out against this deplorable project in a way that shows she understands Americans’ feelings better than American Muslims do.  Where are clear thinking American Muslims on this?  Anyone?
