John Avlon’s wingnut-hunting shtick usually takes the form of biased anti-conservative tirades, but every now and then he manages to call out the other side, too. In his latest Daily Beast column, he takes on the left-wing protestors in my home state of Wisconsin for their hysterical opposition to Republican Governor Scott Walker’s efforts to get the state budget under control and reform public-sector unions.
Why does the Obama Administration acknowledge the voice of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt but ignore the voices of Christians, even as monks are under attack? Is it due to incompentence? Or is it really true that the Obama Administration is more sympathetic to Islamists than to Christians? It’s a question that deserves to be answered clearly.

Have you noticed this case on television much? Nope. It has largely been ignored by the mainstream media. Our own Jamie Glazov called it their “shameful silence.” Those covering the sick father’s conviction have buried the story and kept their comments short and scrubbed of religious references.
