Another Sunday, another day filled with one great list post after another! As you’re used of your favorite conservative blog by now, all the list posts published today are rich in content, challenging, often fun to read, playful, and sure to set off leftists like seldom before. If you don’t have the time read all of them today, just bookmark them and come back later. And if you’re more of an impulsive reader, come back Monday through Saturday when we rerun one of the list posts a day.
So here are today’s list posts…
And we’ll start with Chris Queen’s list post commemorating President Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday and the 30th anniversary of his inauguration as the 40th president of the United States. Read “The Top 10 Defining Moments of Ronald Reagan’s Presidency” to celebrate this special occasion with us and to remind yourself of what a strong, passionate, determined and convincing conservative president can look like. You know, the kind of leader who stands by freedom loving peoples everywhere and who refuses to bow before dictators and extremists. Then compare him with the leftist currently occupying the White House and note the differences.
Oh my God! The world is going to freeze! Oh no, that should be, oh my God, we’re all going to burn to death. No, no, that isn’t it either. Forget all that: we’re going to be blown up. Yes, we will destroy humanity with nuclear bombs… You guessed it: the next list post you should absolutely read today is “The Top 10 Bogus Apocalyptic Prophesies Made by the Left.” In it, Megan Fox takes a closer look at all the apocalypses predicted by progressives. It won’t surprise you that none of them – not one – have actually come to fruition. For some reason, however, that does not prevent leftists from making new ‘the end of the world is upon us!’-prophesies. I wonder why that is…
Do you ever notice that so-called liberal Christians have a tendency to ignore whole parts of the Bible? Pastor Paul Cooper did. He collected the “Top 5 Ignored/ Hated Bible Passages of the Religious Left.” Among them: Psalm 139:13-16, Ephesians 5:22-33 and 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12. This post is sure to create a buzz and possibly stir quite a controversy; in leftists circles, at least.
Just a quick question: what good does the IRS do, actually? Just think about it for a while. Why does the country need the Internal Revenues Service? Isn’t it causing more problems (and stress!) than it solves? Diane Schrader certainly thinks so. With “The Top 7 Reasons (and One Promising Way) to Abolis the IRS for Good” she shows us all a better way. Say goodbye to the IRS and welcome! to the fair-tax.
Earlier this week, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced this year’s Oscar nominations. The movie with the most nominations is The King’s Speech: an apparently impressive film about King George VI of England. Although that’s jolly and all, I fear we’re going to be treated to more ‘holier-than-thou’-speeches for so-called liberal actors. And so does Walter Hudson, editor our The Concession Stand sub-blog. Read his “Top 5 of the Oscars’ Most Sanctimonious Speeches” to get an idea of what to expect during this year’s ceremony.
Those are the list posts published today. As always, read them, bookmark them and use them for future reference whenever a leftist goes off on a rant about the evils of conservatism and the moral superiority of progressivism. Because one thing should be clear by now: conservatism, not progressivism has the answer to problems facing America today, and conservatism, not progressivism, offers people hope of a better life.
