A Shooting and Media Silence

Yesterday, a gunman opened fire at the conservative 501(c)3 Family Research Council, an organization dedicated to standing up for traditional values, particularly with regard to marriage. The gunman was posing as an intern; only an alert security guard stopped the suspect from committing mass homicide, in all likelihood.

The suspect was reportedly carrying a Chick-fil-A bag; Chick-fil-A is, of course, the restaurant chain most prominently linked with the traditional marriage cause, and an organization that has come under assault from the organized left, including Mayor of Chicago Rahm Emanuel and Mayor of Boston Thomas Menino. He began shouting about the politics of FRC, then began shooting.

The security guard on duty asked the man whom he was visiting; the man opened fire, wounding the guard in the arm. The security guard disarmed him; the man then said, “Don’t shoot me, it was not about you, it was what this place stands for.”

Who was the suspect? According to new reports, his name was Floyd Lee Corkins II, and he was a volunteer at a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender center.

It took the media hours to report on the shooting. As of this writing, some hours later, it is not on the front page of the Los Angeles Times. It isn’t on the front page of the New York Times. It’s nowhere to be found.

Now, imagine that an enraged Christian man had entered the headquarters of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation wielding a backpack full of ammunition. Imagine he began shouting about the sin of same-sex marriage. Imagine he’d shot a guard.

Is there any doubt it would have made the front page of every newspaper in the country? Is there any doubt at all that Democrats would immediately have accused Republicans for inciting this man, blamed churches for indoctrinating him, and called for regulation of “offensive hate speech”?

Most of all, wouldn’t the White House immediately call for an exponential increase in the amount of funding for their anti-bullying program, headed up by Dan Savage, and focusing in large measure on preventing bullying of gay kids?

But when a gay activist shoots up a traditional values center, nobody has anything to say.

"But when a gay activist shoots up a traditional values center, nobody has anything to say."

I have something to say. The shooting was not justified. However, it is conceivable that Floyd Lee Corkins was utterly infuriated by the idea that the Family Research Center, an organization established to disenfranchise gay people and prevent them from adopting children was co-founded by George Rekers, a man who was photographed in May, 2010 at Miami International Airport returning from a ten day trip to Europe with his rented gay escort, a male prost.itute named Lucien.

are you saying the guy was jealous?

You say it's not justified, then you justify it. Using that reasoning, Charles Manson was an innocent. Aftet all, his mother was a prostitute who cared little for him. Poor little guy. It's not his fault. Society failed him.

    • Tychicus says:

      "disenfranchise gay people"
      1. There are no such "people". There are many races of people, no such thing as "gay people"
      2. Your choice to be homosexual is NOT A CIVIL RIGHT. The whole idea that being "homosexual" and being "black" is completely offensive and absurd. No, you weren't born homosexual!
      3. Homosexuals want SPECIAL RIGHTS. Rejecting this plea is not "discrimination" and it is not "disenfranchising". Another total fiction of the brainwashed left.
      4. Those who are opposed to the idea that perversion of homosexuality should be given SPECIAL RIGHTS is not hate! It is simply common sense, common decency, and having a contrary opinion. Stop the name calling!
You don't need a religion to know that homosexuality is perversion and degrading self-immolation.
      Courage and Godspeed.

      • Tychicus says:

        Correction:
        2. The whole idea that homosexual rights somehow equates to civil rights or the civil rights movement is absurd.

I like how you people whip out the idea that people don't exist simply because you disagree with them or want their stuff. This Zionist propaganda movement is really dependent on you. Where would the "Palestinians don't exist" movement be without the "gays don't exist" movement? Shunning is critical to these fanatical movements.

        • Chezwick says:

Unlike many here, I've always conceded there is a "Palestinian" people. They are barbaric, pathologically violent, practitioners of a death-cult, and are therefore undeserving of a state of their own, but they certainly DO exist.

Once again,we have to strip away the political nonsense to get at the truth and the truth is that once again, another deranged loon with a gun tried to kill people. Well, I don't agree with the left's hatred of Family Research but Jim Daily should not have sign an agreement with Jim Wallis. Jim Wallis is also soft on gay marriage and he sometimes thinks that Family Research should not be so homophobia. Granted, the left is nuts that much on gay marriage.

Just another symptom of the US disease. – Violence as remedy for all conflicts.

Wow, did you ever step on some toes. You have to remember that FPM is a kind of cult of violence. They love blood and dead bodies. They may be cowards but they love to watch. Don't believe me? Well, just look at the majority of the articles about the middle east. Those articles either have direct calls for violence against the "usual suspects" and if not the foaming at the mouth commentators will fill the gap quit nicely.

      • Foolster41 says:

Show us where there are calls of violence. At all. Your a liar.

        • deprogrammer says:

Do you even notice all the fear mongering a sabre rattling against Iran? How staunchly pro-war was FPM in the lead up to the US invasion of Iraq? Being called a liar by someone like you is like being called a liar by a tree slug.

You either don't understand what that phrase means, or you are being intentionally deceptive. Your comparison of me to a tree slug suggests the later.

Apparently you also think "fear mongering" is telling the truth about Iran's apparent duplicity concerning it's nuclear program, and it's constant calls for the elimination of the Jewish state.

And Hitler was a socialist, as the name labeled him, Statists have one goal, absolute power and Hitler was no different. You do realize don't you, that under Hitler set standards for autos like the people's car? You know like the socialists today do from the DOT. A blind advocate refuses to see or deal with the very stumbling blocks or impediments which might be the cause of his or her agenda. To the blind advocate only the target of their rage is what matters. They assume no responsibility for any of their own actions which might contribute to the failure of their agenda. In fact, the blind advocate goes out of his or her way to blame the object of their rage and/or hatred for their own misbehavior.

In psychological terms, this is called projection. A person or group, subconsciously assigns their own dysfunctional behaviors, thoughts and emotions to another individual or group. This is a defense mechanism used to protect the individual or group from dealing with their own dysfunction.

Psychology Doctor on human behavior – applicable to all groups from terrorists to lone shooters .

    • teq says:

So, Mr. "Amused", you're saying that if I am shocked and repulsed by any act, it means that I am "projecting" my own secret desire to perform the act too? If I am horrified by a story of cannibalism it means that I am a closet cannibal? If I denounce child-rapists it means I secretly want to rape children myself? If I denounce a Nazi, it means I am a secret Nazi myself?
But you are always denouncing conservative Christians. Does this mean you are a closet Christian yourself? Inquiring minds want to know.

Hey , there's enough to go around , forget what the media says or focuses on . That will be just like everything else – have is peculiar political spin …lol….as we see in this article …the author engages in the very thing he is protesting . And the demogogues on either side of an issue set the agenda , the weaker adherents digest the message and then act , all the time justifying their action as just .
The "projection " mentioned above knows no politics , it is a psychosis gone awry , but clearly justified in the minds of the shooter/killer . In this , the Texas Tower Sniper of decades ago , is no different then the Fort Hood shooter , is no different than Columbine or Colorado nor Virginia Tech .
The means has been made available -rightly or wrongly , the psychotic mind has made the decision to kill , the "projection " successfully transfered into action against the object [s] the hatred is " projected " towards .
There is nothing "Amusing " about these murders , what I DO FIND AMUSING , is the rush on either side to attach or deflect ideological blame , or play ideological victim .

Conclusions : Hatespeech always risks drawing the Wild Card , of the weaker minds , predisposed to , and willing to act in the extreme , once a percieved or preconcieved enemy is identified , thus enabling the final step in the "projection " onto the subsequent victims .
When done on a global /religious scale we windup with jihadis , when done on a local scale we wind up with the [not ] connected events we see happening . And in some cases the target [s] of these projections may not be predictable as in the case of the Atlanta Olympics Bomber , whose agenda would have indicated particular targets , which eventually he did . The logical connection of targets known only to the bomber himself .
Finally , these connections continue to elude the purveyors of hate speech as "cause and effect " , and they continue to throw the dice as it were , for these events will continue and will increase in frequency .

  8. Baron says:

I think there may be more to the reason for silence from the media than brought out in the article. The Obama-Holder crowd does not want anyone to hear that a man who legaly carries a gun stopped a man with a gun from creating another masacre. They don't want us to know that legal carry prevents crime. I beleive if the masacre had occured, the media certainly would have told all about how 'guns kill people' while down-playing the motive. The media would have spun a story about how this guy was bullied into the crime and how he was the true victim. After all, we live with an administration who looks at a masacre of soldiers, carried out by a man who was calling out "Alah Akbar" as he was shooting, and they called it 'work place violence'! Scary, I say SCARY!

    • scum says:

Although Obama and Holder may not want the general populace to hear about legal firearm use stopping a crime, I doubt seriously either they or their subordinates have in any way pressured the MSM. The MSM has been ignoring such stories for way longer than Obama has been in office. The MSM tends to be very anti-gun, they are disinclined to report any firearm use that counters their agenda .

Aurora, Virginia Tech, the Sihk Temple et al all had the body counts the media, especially the
TV media loves. No heart wrenching survivor stories or grieving families. So it is possible, however
unlikely, that this reason and not politics, is the reason for the lack of courage.
PS: This was also deemed an act of domestic terrorism.

Their have been other shootings that didn't kill or injury very many – if any – people and they too garnered little attention. Hell, Democracy Now! had a blurb about it and they are far to the left of center. "If it bleeds it leads" is not confined to any one outlet but is a definite feature of the MSM and that's why coverage sucks oh so bad.

  11. Bartimaeus says:

We know that the main stream media is biased and has a left leaning agenda to promote. The agenda does not include traditional sexuality and marriage. God forbid, but if there would have been deaths involved the media would have tried to minimized the responsibility of the shooter and move the blame toward the FRC in some fashion. This is what the media has become in our time. The main stream media will most likely become a vehicle for the eventual persecution of anyone holding traditional views. To a certain extent it is already happening.

  12. Stan Lee says:

That shooting event was given an average of 17 seconds news commentary or reporting on the leftist influenced TV networks. Bob Schieffer reported the shooting so quickly that if one didn't listen very carefully, it was over that fast. Had it happened in a ACORN location, we would be hearing about guns every 15 minutes, news and camera teams would have been dispatched to the shooter's home, an entire investigation would have started. We'd have another Gabby Gifferds episode, with blame being placed on a "right-wing extremist."
Then, as in Tucson. AZ, the shooter would be psycho-analyzed and found to be insane. In the meantime, the leftist media would have demonized Conservatives and hammered away with leftist propaganda!
They wouldn't have devoted 17 seconds to it either…it would be weeks.

  13. scum says:

Shapiro's article is dated Aug. 16. Here's the NY Times, AUG 15 article by Theo Emery: SHOOTING AT FAMILY RESEARCH COUNCIL IN WASHINGTON. Let's look at the article: "…A law enforcement official said Mr. Corkins made comments indicating his opposition to the council's goals during the confrontation." Later in the article: "THE ORGANIZATION'S PRESIDENT, TONY PERKINS, DID NOT ADDRESS POLITICAL CONSIDERATIONS IN A STATEMENT RELEASED AFTER THE SHOOTING." (my caps). Later, "Corkins had been a volunteer at the D.C. Center, a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community center…" What does this tell us? While perhaps it didn't make it onto the front page, the story was hardly "anywhere to be found." Morevoer, IT WAS THE FAMILY RESEARCH COUNCIL THAT REFUSED TO COMMENT ABOUT POLITICAL MOTIVATIONS, WHILE THE NY TIMES DID. Shapiro, EPIC FAIL!

      Why the hate from you?

Are you really saying that the concept that marriage is only between a man and woman is unsound or unreasonable? Oh ya' that's the wild-eyed perspective. What a fool, There can no more be two men (or women) "Married" than a bachelor can be married. In this case both exist but cannot logically be linked together as they cancel each other so the phrase has no meaning.

But if you were honest you would admit what this is really all about. Simply: "If homosexuals can't marry then no one can." that is the real goal of all modern leftist positions; destruction of what IS to be replaced with an unnatural imaginary social arrangement. But because it is unnatural it is doomed to failure and will leave only pain and destruction in it's wake.

The point wasn't about gay marriage at all , it was about the acts of violence , that proponents of either view choose to embrace and what the motivating factors are , how the weaker minds are succcintly affected by rhetoric , and when the inevitable happens , the finger pointing and persecution complexes that so facetiously get splattered all over the echo-chambers of either side of the issue .
Now I know Rogo-poo is hpoelessly confused , and obssesed with using his new dictionary word , but I would imagine that you Now2no ,are capable of grasping my point , once clarified . If not …then I'm sorry , go argue with ROGO-poo .

        • Roger says:

You have poor writing skills and combined with your questionable logic it makes it hard to know if you ever have a point.

Don't blame us for your stupid.

  15. pagegl says:

There could be any number of reasons why Perkins didn't address political considerations. Maybe he just chose not to do so. Maybe he knew nothing of the assailant's association with LGBT when he gave his statement. Maybe he did know and decided to not address that for fear the MSM would accuse him of inflammatory remarks. Who knows why he didn't?

I will give kudos to the NYT for reporting the assailant's association to LGBT; I guess they can get something right once in a while.

  16. I have a hard time fretting over this. The MSM mindset is a reality that's so hard-wired into their reporting that everyone knows what they're going to say, and how they're going to say it, even before it's published. Why anyone needs to buy a metro paper is a mystery. You can write the stories yourself.

  17. fightwarnotwars says:

I read about this first in the NY Times it was on the frontpage.
I'm not sure where you get this "why isn't this in the media narrative"…

    • amused says:

uhhh….I know that you have " Noway2no " …but my point had nothing to do with any position on gay marriage or homosexuals , it had everything to do with how people get motivated to commit an act of violence . Unless of course you approve of such reactions . And in addition the inevitable finger-pointing that goes on after rsuch events have occurred ,lol…and each side claiming persecution .
On the other hand I will give you the benefit of doubt , since you did have the misfortune of posting behind the world's newest irrelevant non-sequitur- ROGO-POO . Your confusion is understandable.

  18. geopeyton says:

The beauty of no standards or rationality in arguing is that you can make any sort of outrageous claim and not be held accountable.

It's like not believing in objective standards for right and wrong – you can claim anything is right or wrong, simply because you say so.

It's the sort of logic a 6 year old child would employ, but then, we are talking about The Left…

  19. History lesson says:

Wow, did everyone just completely not comprehend the article? Sometimes I wonder if everyone tries to read between the lines too much. The article states that the MSM has not reported the incident as much as the other recent events have been reported. That leads to questions such as Why? The concern by the author is that the victim establishment is a conservative establishment and he supports his views rationally. Furthermore, it was reported that the shooter went about this becuase of how he felt personally about the organization. The author also states that ultimately the person is responsible for his own actions no matter what the cause. But still we need to look at external forces and those external forces need to take responsibilty for their part. What really concerns me is that all of you are quibling about religion and not about fairness in the media. I have to agree with EthanP that fortunately, there were no deaths so the MSM was not as concerned.

  20. Ghostwriter says:

Striped of any political baggage,we have a deranged lunatic attempting to commit mass murder. Thankfully,he didn't succeed. But,that's not what you'll hear from idiots like Schlomotion and deprogramer. They just want to go on their tiresome tirades instead of looking at the facts of the matter. And the facts are,the guy was a loon who got shot by a guard while attempting to commit mass murder.

  21. Brujo Blanco says:

This double standard is getting reallly tired. This incident is not likely going to get the attention it should get. To put less value on the lives of one political group over another is going over the top.

  22. Mo_ says:

Absolutely right. And it infuriates me. Not a word about this on the front pages of my local papers today. When you KNOW if it had been a so-called Christian doing this to a homosexuality-promoting organization it would've been front pages news for days!

    I am livid.

    • jim says:

Gosh, I saw it reported on blogs and news feeds pretty much immediately. Perhaps you need new sources? Try JoeMyGod – he’s johnny-on-the-spot with news coverage.

      Good luck!

  23. Looking4Sanity says:

    2 Timothy 3:

1: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3: Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
    4: Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

  24. Roger says:

Do you not only advocate for violence, but also feel qualified to rate it as well?

  25. Roger says:

To do that, you would have to empty the hate.

    I don't see it happening.

  26. teq says:

I agree with you. Animals do it too, especially if there is a shortage of opposite-sex partners. And when there is a shortage of food, animal mothers will often eat their young. And predator animals will sometimes start eating their prey while it's still alive.
The Darwinist left teaches our children that humans are animals and therefore are free to do whatever animals do. As I see it, it's not the Law of Nature that makes us different from animals, it's the Law of God. Atheists call themselves "naturalists" and claim that salamanders do it, then we can too. God holds us to a higher standard.

  27. Kevin Stowell says:

    You ecucate (sic) yourself, Achmed.

“Nature, Mr. Allnut, is what we are put in this world to rise above.”

  28. Noway2no says:

A person's DNA determines their sex, not how they feel or what they like.

The population is virtually evenly divided between men and women with only rare outliers.

With few exceptions any man can marry any woman in the USA as long as they both agree.

What could be more inclusive or “fair”?

  29. ★FALCON★ says:

Some shootings are quote – work place violence – unquote. And some animals are more equal than others.

  30. Roger says:

Wee, you're reverting again. You've used all that a dozen times over the past three years and each time it's made you look foolish.

You know that those are old texts that the Jews don't even follow, and as Christians we follow the teachings of Christ. You haven't shown where Christ taught any of that for His modern church.

So, you are still the hate filled bigot.

Did you already get back from another liquid lunch? There are meetings that can help with that, you small little'wee' man.

  31. ferengi says:

""And just in case you are thinking that the evil and immoral laws of the Old Testament""

    According to what standard?

  32. Roger says:

    Sigh…..

    You know it.

  33. ferengi says:

""It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17 NAB) ""

Thats not evidence – its your empty assertion. Where is your evidence this verse = ALL the OT law is still in effect?

  34. ferengi says:

Because its detrimental to society: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/

  35. Kevin Stowell says:

    'Can't thank you enough.

  36. ferengi says:

"Have the heaven and earth passed away? Pretty sure we are still here."

    Questions are not evidence.

"Pretty sure you can't even prove jesus existed to say these things "

Where is your evidence? I am not so uneducated to missuse the word "prove' as you have done in this context.

  37. ferengi says:

<<Nothing stands in the way of this project more than the respect we accord religious faith.Incompatible religious doctrines have balkanized our world into separate moral communities–Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, etc.–and these divisions have become a continuous source of human conflict>>

Accutally atheisms bloodlust has accounted for more deaths than all religous conflits in all of history conbinded. Over 100 million dead, killed by atheists, justin the 20th century alone.
Its the message of Christianity that has restrained the bloody path of the atheist throughout history.

  38. Kevin Stowell says:

Religion has been a tool and a scapegoat for every ascendant tyrant there's ever been. Most have been in pursuit of land, domination of other cultures, or just plain pillaging.

Are you taking your lunch through an ng tube or are you just here to make everyone laugh?

    Keep struggling, Wee.

  39. ferengi says:

<<In these places religion has been the explicit cause of literally millions of deaths in the last 10 years. >>

Nothing compares to atheisms 100 million dead – just i teh 20th century alone.

  40. Roger says:

All those conflicts and to think you don't even pretend muslims weren't a cause of most of the deaths, or that the Christians weren't just fighting in self defense.

How typical muslim friendly of you. You know what made our country great?
    http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=FKhVnAgt0EY

  41. Walt says:

Did you notice that 10 out of 12 of the conflicts you cite involve Muslims!

Yet you continue to harp on the 'false' bible of Christianity ?

  42. Roger says:

He keeps using that, as if it means something.

Wee has a lot of broken records he plays over and over. Wait until he starts up the Hitler rants. Anything that leans towards 'muslim friendly' in their hatred of Christianity.

  43. WTE says:

No one has the slightest physical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written manuscripts. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus. Devastating to historians, there occurs not a single contemporary writing that mentions Jesus. All documents about Jesus came well after the life of the alleged Jesus from either: unknown authors, people who had never met an earthly Jesus, or from fraudulent, mythical or allegorical writings. Although one can argue that many of these writings come from fraud or interpolations, I will use the information and dates to show that even if these sources did not come from interpolations, they could still not serve as reliable evidence for a historical Jesus, simply because all sources about Jesus derive from hearsay accounts.

  44. Roger says:

And he fits right in with the muslim activist nazi's.

  45. Roger says:

    Facts are not his friends.

  46. Kevin Stowell says:

Doesn't seem to be in a very good mood today. Someone, who shall remain nameless but you know her, said she saw his blogging on a Paulestinian site, FWIW.

  47. Roger says:

But he's using parallel profiles on intense debate for the most part.

Don't tell me his welcome is worn out when people realize who it is…..

  48. Kevin Stowell says:

I suspect so…in some places. He always seems to fool a few, temporarily, which I find kinda scary. I think his type, even on some of the Left-leaner sites, is getting boring even to some of the Lefties.

  49. Roger says:

Of course they do. Go back and research the patron saint of the Coptic Egyptian church, it's pilate. You know the guy who saw and spoke to Christ and after considering, did his best to change the world by following the teachings of Christ.

  50. ferengi says:

<<No one has the slightest physical evidence to support a historical Jesus>>

    Where is your evidence?

  51. Roger says:

Why wouldn't they? Those were the people who knew the most about the facts in the life of Christ. They are the experts, even if you hate it.

    The bigotry blinds you wee.

  52. ferengi says:

<<Note that these Gospels did not come into the Bible as original and authoritative from the authors themselves, but rather from the influence of early church fathers, especially the most influential of them all:>>
    Evidence please.

  53. Roger says:

Wee, you just keep repeating the lies. Propaganda sounds so hollow, particularly when you scream it loudly over and over.

  54. Roger says:

Of course John wrote what he saw and heard. He said so himself in 1 John.

Wee, you just hate Christianity like any typical muslim friendly troll.

  55. Roger says:

No, the gospels employ using witnesses and friends to repeat what they saw and heard.

You just can't stand it. A real religion that teaches peace. Instead of islam.

  56. Roger says:

Once again you're a hate filled muslim friendly troll, that's undersized of course.

    Soo 'wee'.

  57. Roger says:

Wee, you're wrong. You use all sorts of propaganda, but that doesn't make it any more true.

  58. ferengi says:

    <<Actually you're wrong again.>>

    NO I am not.

  59. Roger says:

No, like you. If you are describing your hate accurately of course.

  60. Roger says:

You can't even know enough about it to tell it the way the Bible does.

Does the cleric get nervous that the hate might weaken if you really do study the Bible?

  61. Looking4Sanity says:

Typical humanist perspective. You're focused on the problem instead of the solution. History does you no good because you're too stupid to learn from it. To summarize, you are a hopeless idiot of your own making.

  62. ferengi says:

    <<<Abraham's family ,,…..>>

None of this is evidence for your unsupported assertion above.

  63. Roger says:

And how was that out of the norms for his time?

  64. Looking4Sanity says:

The solution is "DON'T BE GAY".

They ALREADY have the same Rights as everyone else! NO ONE HAS A RIGHT to same sex marriage. Our Rights do not come from government. Our Rights come from God…and God says that homosexuality is a crime against Him. Therefore it CAN NOT be a "Right".

    Case closed.

  65. Looking4Sanity says:

You didn't include the consequences involved with those situations. A half truth is a whole lie.

I see you're trying harder, but you suck as bad at this as you always have. It's time to admit that you have no case.

  66. Looking4Sanity says:

"Our rights came from our founding fathers."

What one man gives, another may take away. Our Founders gave us NOTHING except a proper understanding of our place in the universe and a good start. Our Rights are "unalienable" precisely because they were Divinely bestowed.

I pray that God will place a curse so terrible upon you that you are forced to acknowledge Him and turn from your blasphemous ways.

  67. Looking4Sanity says:

I can only conclude that you were a preemie who fell out of your mother straight on to your head. There is something so profoundly wrong with you that it is beyond the ability of medical science to fix.

  68. Looking4Sanity says:

You obviously feel quite comfortable about judging the character of God. That's ironic, considering you claim not to believe in Him, don't you think? Why do you persist in hating what you claim to be a fictitious deity?

  69. Abiding says:

It is a loving action to tell someone the truth, with the hope the person will be saved from eternal damnation. It is a loving action to help the hopeless find hope. It is a loving action to show a person the way to peace and forgiveness of his sins. It is a loving action to show dying mankind where to find life. It is a loving action to show a person that he can be reconciled to the Creator of the Universe, and have a 1 to 1 personal, supernatural relationship with his Creator.

  70. Looking4Sanity says:

“Of course our founding fathers were deists not christians.”That particular lie of yours has been proven false repeatedly. Repeating a lie continually will NOT make it the truth no matter how much you'd like it.I have no doubt that none of your prayers “work”. Christians know better…and witness publicly as to the power of prayer every single day.

  71. Roger says:

Wee, you small little man. I have a video to prove you wrong.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=FKhVnAgt0EY

Of course you can't stand facts so you'll call it spam. But thinking people will understand you're just a hate filled bigot when they watch it.

  72. Looking4Sanity says:

You're just boring me now. Lies have that effect on me. Is Roger being too hard on you? Were you hoping for me to coddle you in your ignorance and hateful bigotry? I'm happy to disappoint you yet again.

  73. Roger says:

There are Roman records to show Pilate was in Egypt as Governor.

    Do you doubt it?

  74. Roger says:

It's not hearsay with Matthew and John.

Why is an eye witness called a liar by you, here and now this much later when they're not here to repeat themselves and say that once again they were there listening and watching.

Your hatred and bigotry blinds you.

  75. Roger says:

    Not with Matthew and John.
So, you're just a hate filled bigot, still.

  76. Roger says:

The link is for before the 20th century, before athiestic communism that has killed even more.

So, you didn't even address his point. It's a straw man argument to distract from him proving you wrong.

Wee, you small little man you. You're just a bigot.

  77. Roger says:

You pretend the Bible is supposed to be about perfect people.

Where did you get that idea? The Bible says only Christ was perfect.

    What was your point again?

  78. Roger says:

He' s just a muslim friendly troll doing his job, day in and day out behind his work terminal.

  79. Roger says:

Yes, and you being the small little man that you are had nothing of substance to offer. That's a pretty regular thing with you 'wee wee'.

  80. Roger says:

He don't need no stinking evidence!!!!

Wee ignores everyone that knows what they're talking about then inserts his muslim talking points.

  81. Roger says:

You're not asking him to use facts for his conclusions do you?

    Hahahahahahahahaha……

Oh, 'wee' is going to just blow a gasket on that one.

  82. Roger says:

Back to multi-part rants because you can't be confusing enough with one? Matthew was one of the disciples and was there. We have been over this. But as a hate filled bigot you refuse to admit that someone there actually wrote the truth about something you hate so badly.

  83. Roger says:

John was there. He said he was there.
    I john 1-4

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched —this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to make our[a] joy complete.

Now, why would John so specifically say he was there and saw it himself? He was probably aware that hate filled bigots such as yourself would want to deny witnesses that didn't agree with the hate.

  84. Roger says:

But Hitler was no Christian, and neither was Stalin.

Wee, you keep using your muslim test for Christianity, and it doesn't work.

  85. Roger says:

7 of those 10 involve Christians resisting islam.

You are such a small little man.

And 10 of 12 is islam trying to impose that world wide caliphate.

  86. Roger says:

Why don't you leave and take all your hate with you?

    Wee little man…..

  87. Roger says:
  88. Roger says:

And do you think that lowers Christians to the level of a hate filled bigot such as yourself?

  89. Roger says:

So Hitler was not a Christian since he made no pretense to led the teachings of Christ shape his life or actions.

Wee, as a hate filled bigot you are blinded to reality. That and all your muslim friendly values.

  90. Roger says:

Wee has so much hate, I don't think he knows there are other emotions.

    So muslim friendly….

Speak Your Mind
