Politicizing Tragedy

This is a perversion of our political system. Even if each and every nutty mass murderer was a mad hatter from thea Tea Party, that still would not justify shutting down free speech for an entire nation, or labeling all Tea Partiers criminals, or instituting vast new regulatory schemes. Not every local issue is a national issue.

But that point seems to be lost on the left.  Bullying, a local problem, is now it’s a national issue, requiring federal assistance. Your toilet is clogged? Get your Congressman on the phone!

James Holmes’ actions had nothing to do with any particular political ideology. They didn’t have to do with the gun laws in Colorado – he ordered much of his ammunition from out of state. Until we stop painting the entire nation with the brushes of local villains like Holmes, we will continue living in the unreality of a left that is always anxious to see the national identity of America as a problem.

    And the anti bullying movement, it is a completely liberal fabricated problem. All the left did was declare there are no right or wrong behaviors, refuse to punish abusers then offer counseling to the victims. I have a special needs son who went through this, the complete refusal of the educators to tell the bully that physically assaulting a handicapped student was bad because that would be judging him! When truth becomes relative, it creates the chaos that evil men who want absolute power then walk through the rubble to rebuild society in their own ideal and likeness. Wasn't it Marx who said that?

    Domestic violence, changing of the CIA lexicon, government paid leave, healthcare, protected of all reference to islam, ignoring of emails and self declared official and community presentations.     I wonder if limousine liberals ever lived in a neighbor so violent police do not respond, and if they do the police only make sure it's safe for the ambulance to scrape the victim off the street when shootings take place. What's their plan for when they hear gunshots, call 911 and get transferred to a police dispatcher who says if their's no body then just come to the station and file a police report in the morning.

    Bloomberg travels in armored cars with ex special forces bodyguards to events protected by the air force. Police who advocate further restrictions on citizen's ability to protect themselves arm themselves heavily and in some occasions highly political like blaming gang violence on Sarah Palin or outright criminals themselves.

    It's very revealing to consider the cases — like Aurora and Columbine — that the Left chooses to use for propaganda for its causes, and the cases it chooses to ignore.
    For example there are the cases of Major Hassan — 13 victims — and of Muhammad and Malvo — 10 victims — and various other Moslem attackers. Seems to me a case could be made that Islam needs to be controlled in this country, at least as much as guns need to be controlled.
    Then there are the cases of John Gacy — 33 victims — and Jeff Dahmer –17– and Wayne Williams — 25 to 30. Sure looks like there's a big homosexual problem, surely we need strict federal control of homosexuals to prevent further tragedies like these.
