Genocidal Muslim State Elected to UN Human Rights Body

Do you know what the difference is between Charles Manson and a UN human rights official? Charles Manson didn’t wear a suit.
UN Watch, the Geneva-based non-governmental human rights group condemned today’s U.N. election of “genocidal, misogynistic and repressive” Sudan to its 54-member Economic and Social Council
“Sudan, whose leader was indicted by the International Criminal Court for genocide and crimes against humanity, will now help choose the members of the Commission on the Status of Women, the executive of UN Women, and UNICEF, which protects children’s rights,” said Neuer.
ECOSOC decides which nations will sit on, among others, the UN’s Commission for Social Development, the Commission on the Status of Women, the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the Executive Board of the United Nations Children’s Fund and the Executive Board of the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.
That seems about right, considering that Sudan’s Janjaweed Rape Squads were a deliberate policy of war. But let’s zoom in a little more on INGSOC, I mean ECOSOC,
ECOSOC has broad responsibility for some 70% of the human and financial resources of the entire UN system, including 14 specialized agencies, 9 “functional” commissions, and five regional commissions
Should the United States be providing the funding for this 70 percent? That’s one of those issues that a genuinely conservative Republican candidate might want to bring to the American people.
