I don't see how this can be a mistake. I imagine in my mind a Christian making a gaffe like this and it just seems so improbable. He could have easily added the word alleged. If he were asked about allegations of a NAMBLA membership or crack addiction would he still slip up like that? But to be fair to him, George Bush said terrorists never stop thinking of new ways to harm us "and neither do we." Or maybe this is an accidental admission from both of them. You do no good to your credibility by presenting only Obama's knowledge of Islam and the Muslim faith – which he may have a naive acceptance of its principles and dominance. However, his 20 years under the tutilage of the racist, anti-American, anti-Semitic Jeremian Wright carries far more damaging weight of his faith than any evidence that he secretly prays 5 or 6 times a day to Allah….
It is very simple. The brainwashing of early years deposits garbage in a part of the young brain that remains there for life. Brilliant scientists whose intellect would force them to reject religion still have a part of their brain that believes that a God exists. Obama had early indoctrination in Muslim schools and no matter what his claim or actual belief that he has adopted Christianity or any other baloney, that part of the brain that was infected in youth leaves him devoted to what he believes to be his Holy Koran. Nobody IS a Muslim or Christian. That is a matter of belief. A Jew can be an atheist and he will still be a Jew because 2,000 years of discrimination has created a culture, perhaps diverse, including dissenters and lunatics such as Shlomotion, but still a Jew. Deep down, and culturally, Obama is attached to Islam. Period.
There is another view point that should be included. Children are more open to believing in god as they have not been hardened in their hearts. The concept of a creator God is only difficult for adults that have been brain washed by the concept of evolution and the natural inclinations of secularism. However, adults with science degrees that are aware of the weaknesses in evolutionary theory are more open to the possibility of a Grand Designer or Creator. It is also true to say that children that have been raised to believe in god in a certain way do not necessarily carry that belief into Adulthood. And finally, as to the background of president Obama, I think his views are more complex as he may well be essentially an atheist that is using Islam as a foil against traditional western religious concepts (the Judeo-Christian view). This would fit in with the theory that Mr. Obama has strong anti-colonial and Marxist views in his core political philosophy.

One correction to the video. Obama is not visiting a mosque in Turkey. He is visiting a church that was stolen, desecrated and abused. It is located in occupied Constantinople.

I accept that Obama isn't a Muslim, and I don't think it's fruitful to dwell on this point. Seems to me it's more relevant to stay focused on his abysmal track record on the economy, his failure to produce the promised results both at home and abroad (e.g., cut the deficit in half, repair relations with the Muslim world, etc.). He was swept into office with grand promises, and none of them have materialized, and so he's trying to disavow responsibility and change the subject and hope we'll forget the last 4 years ever happened. So we don't need distractions.
However, it irks me when news broadcasters stress the "fact" that Obama isn't a Muslim. What you see in this video doesn't prove Obama to be a Muslim. But it certainly makes it clear that a reasonable person may wonder whether this is the case. To flat-out deny the possibility is to have your head in the sand. This all gets back to Obama not being sufficiently vetted. We really know very little about him.
