    His first interview with Nasrallah was so "PC"and boring I could not watch all of it. Assange never probed him, it was not on the edge; Assange never asked why are there so many palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, why are they not allowed to practice their professions? Why are the Lebanese so intolerant of palestinians? Why are there at least 10 refugee camps in Jordan and 10 in Syria? Why not allow them to live there as normal citizens? Jordan is 2/3 palestinian? Why is there no arab spring in Jordan? Is this because of Jews too?

      Africa is a dangerous place for any Christian or Jew, I have Missionary friends in Congo and am
      fearful for their safety, killing goes on around them all of the time. Where are the so called peace
      keepers of the UN, to busy out rapeing and pillaging to do any good. The World community has
      a very poor showing of saving indigenous people and I wonder where the Jacksons and Sharptons
      are not condemning the Islamist and Criminal slaughter going on in the black Christian populations
      that are murdered by the millions. Maybe because there is no money in it and blacks are not
      considered high enough in life to intercede, save the whales but to hell with Africans, shame

    I watched the video. I think it was well done, as was the Hasan Nasrallah interview. I would be interested to read what impression Mr. Horowitz took away from the meeting. The part where everybody compared who had the most death threats against them was funny. I had to tape that.

    Wow, did you folks hear what Horowitz said? That we should have occupied Iraq (uhh, what?), and stuck it to Syria and Iran too while we were at it. Let me just try and take him seriously, for a moment. To occupy all that territory simultaneously would take at least 750,000 U.S. trooops on a sustained basis, supported by armor and total control of the airspace. It could take much more and result in huge U.S. casualties. It would cost at least 500 billion more per year than we are spending now. And it would put us at war with segments of Islam that are very volatile. Lastly, and this may have been lost on many of you folks out there, but essentially Horowitz is taking the Saudi side in the regional conflict. Saudi Arabia would be the unalloyed leader of Arab muslims in the absence of Syria and Iran.

    Of course, this is also an Israeli supporting gambit. But here's what I don't get, truly. Why is that in any way in the interest of the U.S. to engage in any of it? Why should I care if a Zionist gets to live in Palestine or a Libyan Islamist lives free of repression? The U.S. has no interest in either outcome. Why would anyone who loves this country suggest such a course of action when it so obviously is not in our interest to do so?

      I think it came out in the discussion. Zizek pointed out Horowitz' picture of Stalin. This seems like a modification of Stalin. Stalin modified Leninism into "Soci.alism in One Country." Horowitz modified this further into "Soci.alism in Zero Countries." Given the defeat of all communist revolutions in Europe including in Russia, the Soviet Union should adopt a strong anti-communist stance. This will confuse the hell out of people. He fights for an Israel he never visited, he advocates an America that he admits can't exist due to the limitations of human nature. You could also call it "On the Slogan for a United States of the Middle East."

        Did you ever visit the Middle East or Russia? And, speaking about Stalin, why would he run Comintern having modified Leninism into the "Socialism in One Country" as you claim?

          I have not visited the Middle East yet. The points I have made are in America and about Americans anyway. As to Stalin's motivations for modifying Leninism, read an article. I assure you that I did not fabricate the entire history of the Soviet Union yesterday afternoon just for the sake of debate:

            I don't take issue with his views on the Middle East. I take issue with how he treats Americans in his attempt to enforce his views of the Middle East.

            He is a peculiar sort of American. He is a Stalinist American denuded of all but the most Zionist-friendly elements of Stalinism. Most of his writings are attacks on Americans, American movements, and though they are cogently written, the marketing and promotion of such seems to be where there real socially ill effects are at.
