Center for American Progress Chairman Now Working as Lobbyist for Iraq/Iran

Time Magazine described the Center for American Progress as “Obama’s Idea Factory” and stated that “not since the Heritage Foundation helped guide Ronald Reagan’s transition in 1981 has a single outside group held so much sway”
The founder and Chairman of the Center for American Progress, John Podesta’s Podesta Group is now the official lobbying firm for the Iraqi government of Maliki, which has rather uncomfortably close ties to Iran.
The government of Iraq is in the final stages of inking a contract with the Podesta Group as its first Washington lobbying firm.
Podesta was also chosen in part for boss Tony Podesta’s relationship with top Democrats — including Vice President Joe Biden. Podesta also has a long relationship with former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Since this is Politico, left unstated is the number of Center for American Progress goons who have gone on to high positions in Obama Inc. Obama’s current Chief of Staff is of many CAP veterans.
So Iraq’s Malki took the pick of the Washington whorehouse. The lobbying firm that built the Obama Administration. And just like Obama comes with Podesta, Iran comes with Maliki.
Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s government handed in the country to Iran “in a golden plate,” former Iraqi premier and head of the al-Iraqiyya Coalition Eyad Allawi said in an interview with Al Arabiya Friday.
“It is known that Iran supports the Iraqi regime and that the United States, with its limited political views, handed in Iraq on a golden plate to Iran,” Allawi told Al Arabiya.
It’s truly shocking then that Hagel, Iran’s golden boy is being ushered in as Secretary of Defense.
