Yes,it's hate speech to use their words against them, because their "holy book" is hateful. When you point that out to them and their prog supporters,well,to them that's just hateful. I would say "off with their heads",but I understand they have changed their ways. Now you'll just be crucified. A wonderful philosophy.
The measure in which a society can no longer call itself free, is when its citizens adhere to dictates laid down by those who seek to impose barbaric rule. When people who live and die by the sword have the ability to impose an omerta, liberty is dead. In other words, a free society is no longer free when its liberal, democratic system upholds tyranny and submission.
So, if one believes that democracy is akin to all things being equal, regardless of their heinousness, then Geller's campaign must be silenced. And if the price of freedom is subscribing to national suicide, then color me a proponent of anti-freedom.

The "savages" campaign was not hate speech. Pamela Geller correctly identified those waging jihad against Israel as savages. There was no condemnation of anyone's religion or ethnicity in the ad.

You might be interested in reading some of the comments replying to an article about the "Islamophobic" ads. A large percentage of them point out that there were no complaints from the muslim community regarding the statements themsleves, just that the ads put were mean to them and that SF's tolerant lifestyles and attitudes are completely incompatible with what we've seen of Islam.
