Al Sharpton is at it again. On the very same day he lashed out at Sarah Palin for her supposedly divisive rhetoric, he made a speech containing some inflammatory rhetoric himself, accusing Palin, Beck, the Tea Party and others of trying to steal the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. “Don’t let them steal our crown, this is our crown.”

Gee whiz everyone is trying to get into the act. People keep popping out of the woodwork wanting to be spokesmen for the Jews just so they can attack Glenn Beck with false claims of Antisemitism.

While many American passengers boarding Airplanes are being forced to make a choice between full body X-ray or getting their junk rubbed, foreign seafarers are basically getting “carte blanche” to anonymously enter the country. According to the report the Customs and Border Protection officers go on the Cargo Ships to inspect the cargo and the manifests etc, but hey have no portable electronic hook-ups to double check who they found on a particular ship with the lists pre-approved by their bosses at Department of Homeland Security.

It is my contention that individual power based on a trust in the “goodness” of man is at the heart of what made the United States great. Secondarily I believe that the difference in that trust in the ultimate intention of the American citizenry is the main issue that divides the Conservative and the Progressive movements.
