While the Left celebrates the chaos in Egypt – which began with riots in which 60 women were raped and the Egyptian Museum was looted – rational observers have warned that the fundamentalist Islamist population is not looking for western style democracy. The Left claims that is “Islamophobia” on our part, because the Egyptian protesters want American-style freedom.
You know, like the freedom to form a mob and sexually assault a reporter while she’s on-air.
