Before I sat down to write this article, I pinched myself just to make sure I was awake and today’s subject wasn’t some weird dream. But alas, talking heads on both sides of the political spectrum really are seriously entertaining the possibility of President Donald Trump.
Yes, we the people have a moral obligation to lend a hand to our young, our sick, and our downtrodden, but the role of our federal government is to protect our individual rights so we don’t have to watch our backs all the time, so we can focus on other pursuits, such as bettering ourselves and the world around us.
Democrats actually believe blaming Bush and pointing to healthcare will get them wins in November.

The Left conveniently invokes a glib and slanted version of history to push through its statist healthcare agenda. But when challenged by historically informed conservatives who make different and more accurate historical analogies, the Left cries foul and runs away.
