Continuing a long track record of covering the President’s non-response to natural disasters.
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, filmmaker Spike Lee lashed out against President Bush for his response to the disaster. Lee made an exhausting two part film called When the Levees Broke that was full of misguided information and useless finger pointing at President Bush with full passes given to what felt like everyone else.
Barack Obama accused George W. Bush of ”unconscionable ineptitude” in failing to respond quickly and effectively to Hurricane Katrina. Yet his administration shamelessly excuses itself of any responsibility in waiting eight days before beginning to respond in any meaningful way to the growing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

I like Jake Tapper. I think Tapper is one of the few MSM big time TV people who don’t engage in what Bernie Goldberg dubbed the “Slobbering Love Affair” with Barack Obama. There is no doubt that Jake Tapper is a huge improvement over Clinton Administration hack George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s This Week.
