Kicking off his 2012 re-election campaign, President Obama has been going around the country in the last few days spewing class warfare vitriol. He believes that it is the duty of the dwindling base of income tax payers to provide even more support for the ballooning base of non-income tax payers.

The New York Times is still beating the war drums in Libya. The Times today urged President Obama to renew air attacks on Col. Qaddafi’s ground forces with U.S. A-10 antitank aircraft and AC-130 ground attack gunships. It also recommended arming the rebels and providing them with training.

President Obama’s response to the serious deficit reduction proposals put forth by House Republicans, led by Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.), was nothing more than a petulant variation on two tired themes – class warfare and blaming George W. Bush for virtually every problem confronting Obama today — including the growing national debt. In fact, Vice president Joe Biden had heard this boring nonsense so many times before that he actually dozed off.

Getting Our Fiscal House In Order
Our brave troops have answered the call of duty, as they always do. They do not deserve to be cut off from being paid if there is a government shutdown. Yet that is precisely what their Commander-In-Chief has threatened to do. Yesterday, the House of Representatives passed a contingency continuing resolution that would have ensured funding of the military for the rest of this 2011 fiscal year, as well as continuing to keep the rest of the government open for another week to permit more time for negotiations.
President Obama summed up yesterday what many Americans have concluded about his own administration and about the Congress, which for the first two years of his term was run entirely by Obama’s friends in the Democratic majority: “That is not a way to run a government.”
While President Obama and the media prostrate themselves at the altar of multiculturalism, what they are actually doing is proving themselves to be fools and racists.
