If it’s a day ending in “y,” that means it’s time for more crappy political advice from the Daily Beast’s Peter Beinart. Beinart’s kind of a one-trick pony on the subject—I’ve noted before how, no matter the situation, he advises Republicans not to govern like conservatives lest they face certain electoral doom (the right electoral strategy, coincidentally, happens to be to govern exactly like Peter Beinart would).

Obama Confirms Closeness to ACORN in Video
On the campaign trail in 2008 then-candidate Barack Obama did his best to distance himself from his past involvement with the radical advocacy group ACORN:
My relationship to ACORN is pretty straightforward. When… it’s probably 13 years ago, when I was still practicing law, I represented ACORN. And my partner in that representation was the U.S. [...]

Democrats: The Buck Stops…uh, Somewhere…
…clearly, anywhere but with the big guy himself.
That’s the conclusion Sean Hannity and Mark Steyn drew the other night, in reaction to Virginia’s former Democrat Governor, L. Douglas Wilder, who recently wrote that President Barack Obama “must overhaul his own team, replacing the admittedly brilliant advisers who helped elect him with others more capable of [...]
Sean Hannity Attacked for Calling Sarah Palin “Governor”
It’s sometimes tempting to think that, with all the petty and stupid attacks against conservatives out there, we have to have seen it all. But if there’s one lesson you should take to heart about the Left, it’s this: Never say never. It can always get worse.

With characteristic hubris, people in this state like to think they’ve been at the leading edge of American politics since the “shot heard ’round the world” in 1775. And in the past few years, we’ve given the nation a preview of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign with Deval Patrick’s successful 2006 bid for governor; provided a [...]

Stop me if you’ve heard this one:
Right-wing fanatics, casting doubt on the loyalty of every President of the United States since Herbert Hoover, are pounding the U.S. people, this Presidential election year, with an unprecedented flood of radio and television propaganda. The hate clubs of the air are spewing out a minimum of 6,600 broadcasts [...]

Jonah Goldberg: Obama’s failed his words – latimes.com
On his own terms, President Obama is a failure. During the presidential campaign, he fought hammer and tongs with Hillary Rodham Clinton on the best way to govern. Clinton, casting herself as a battle-scarred political veteran, argued that diligence, dedicated detail work and working the system were essential for success. Obama, donning the mantle of [...]
