Everyone’s wondering whom the Dems will put up in 2028. Including the Dems themselves. A lot of insiders still expect Gov. Gavin Newsom to emerge from the wreckage of California to be anointed with a crown of cash. I’m skeptical. Three years from now, no one will care about an ex-gov.
But right now polling Democrats turns up an even sadder possibility.
According to Echelon insights, current standings are:
Vice President Kamala Harris — 41%
California Gov. Gavin Newsom — 8%
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro — 7%
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg — 6%
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz — 6%
If you’re wondering, AOC is at 4%, Whitmer at 3% and Jared Polis, for some reason, at 1%, and Raphael Warnock at even less than that.
To be fair, it takes a while for the party to figure out who you’re going to vote for (no, that’s actually correct) and then convince you to vote for them, but it’s still a pretty sad situation on the board.
Gov. Newsom hardly places compared to 41% who want Kamala back. And while this poll shouldn’t be taken too seriously, you can bet it will put a smidgen of hope into Kamala’s pumps. After all her one great skill (except word salads) is fundraising. What’s another $2 billion for 2028?
Will we have Kamala to still kick around?
Nobody’s going to vote for the Kamel-ho. And we all know how she fund raises. On her knees and back. Doggy style, too.
Shapiro has better chances than Newsom.
He bought a new house in my grandmother’s old neighborhood. I think I swam in that swimming pool when I was a kid 🙂
Harris has no chance against J.D. Vance.
On Nov 5, We The People documented that there are more of us than them, and we’re growing. We also demonstrated that we’ve learned how to stop the cheat (in most places), at least to the extent that it matters.
I expect eight years of Vance, eight of DeSantis, That’s 20 years of conservative rule.

I am not a Democrat, but I also want Kamala to run again. To Democrats I say yes, you are on the right track Kamala all the way.

Here’s the breakdown:

But it’s not hard to argue that former House Speaker and eminence grise Nancy Pelosi bears the most blame of all:
The Biden-Harris economy was so bad that $1 billion can’t even rig an election anymore. But really, the Democrats’ biggest problem wasn’t fundraising; it was twofold: Their strategy sucked, and their brand ambassadors were gross.
It’s high time to shatter the myth of Nancy Pelosi as a master strategist. Nobody deserves more blame than the ridiculously self-titled “speaker emerita” for the Democrats’ $1 billion electoral collapse.

I support their choice. They are so smart.
They need to ask the people who pay the bills. I’m guessing the more big donors learn about how she spent their donations, the less likely she is to be spending donations in the future. I suspect they are already looking around for someone where the ROI pencils out better. The media created her candidacy practically overnight. They have three years to created her replacement.

The GOP won a battle in what has been a long war for the soul of America. It’s great sanity won for a change but for the most part, Democrats are keeping their powers. We’ll see if Trump can weed out the deep state Democrats this time- last time the deep state weeded him out.
