It always breaks my heart to see these “active shooter” events that are ravaging our country. But what’s even more heartbreaking is when these monsters target children. Innocent kids that are enjoying their lives and just being kids.
And what took place in Nashville earlier this week rocked me to my core. A Christian school came under attack by a 28-year old suspect, who killed three adults and three kids before being killed by police. It’s absolutely devastating to see a school be a target for something like this.
That said, I can’t help but reflect back on Uvalde. There was an incident in which police had the power to do something – with literally hundreds of officers standing outside the school – but due to the lack of poor leadership, several children’s lives were lost.
Now, I believe the legal fallout from that incident is taking place. But if Uvalde taught us anything, it’s how the police should respond in situations such as this.
Even though several lives were lost in the active shooter incident, the Nashville police worked quickly and diligently in an effort to keep other safe and subdue the shooter before they could do further harm. In fact, body cam footage has made its way online. And although it may be a tough watch to some, it displays just how much these police worked to keep others safe while hunting the suspect and preventing the further loss of life.
Obviously, there are questions in terms of what could have been done to stop the shooter in the first place, especially since they used mapping and surveillance video from the school to their advantage. And those questions will linger for some time. But, again, I can’t help but commend the brave Nashville officers that stepped in without hesitation to put their lives in front of others, just so they could stop the shooter before any further damage was done.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen police officers step up, either. During a number of these events over the course of the year, we’ve seen them coordinate and act quickly to get others to safety while subduing the suspects. And they do so in a professional manner, instead of asking questions or meandering around like the many that were in Uvalde on that fateful day.
As police look more into the motives of the shooter and what could have prompted them to carry out such a heinous attack, my heart goes out to those friends and families that lost loved ones earlier this week. But I still find it a bit motivating that these police, as tired and worn out as they are from the countless “defund the police” attacks by hate mobs and their own governments, continue to risk everything all in the name of justice. And I hope that, with their continued effort (and perhaps a passed bill that will provide them with the funding they’ve been deserving of over the past few years), we’ll see these active shooter events dwindle in number and finally bring this country back under control.
I’m thankful that the officers in Nashville earlier this week acted so quickly in the name of safety, even as the odds were stacked against them. I do hope officers such as that continue to move forward and keep trying to make everyone safe.
Pray for Nashville and the fine officers that are serving the city. I’m proud to have InVest USA provide them with the best tactical gear possible in an effort to provide some additional safety.

Dear Mr. Letts: You keep referring to the shooter as “they.” THEY was a SHE, may SHE rot in hell.
By the way, I wonder if not only the families of the victims, but even the family of the shooter, might have grounds for a lawsuit against the pharmaceutical companies that sold. her whatever testosterone and hormone blockers she was taking, or against the doctor who prescrbed them G-d knows what that stuff did to her brain chemistry. It isn’t the same thing as a person being run over and killed by a drunk driver and his family sueing Johnnie Walker. The drunk driver knew drunk driving was dangerous. SHE had that stuff prescribed as medicine and she took it in good faith, when it was manufactured, prescribed for her and sold to her by people who would rather use her as a cash cow than say “You’re a girl, Audrey. Learn to live with it.”
To the author: I understand your dilemma in writing as the content of your message is more important than hysterical screeches about pronouns that can come from the leftwing peanut gallery, but it becomes truly unreadable. At first I thought the shooter had an accomplice because you used “they.” Who else was there with the shooter? Or I thought the police used surveillance and mapping as police is a plural.
Why not use “he or she” if you feel you must be politically correct.
I propose a law that requires every officer on the Uvalde, Texas Police Department to watch the body cam footage from the Nashville PDs take-down of the shooter before every shift.
And of course Biden will blame Guns The Gun Lobby Gun Stores and Gun Owners just like the Braindead M.S. Media dose
That horrible Joe Biden and those who hold in him power in the White House irrational and stupid if not outright evil because they want to defund the police.
One thing is for sure, which is if the police force is defunded then there in American cities and even towns there a drastic raise in crime especially heinous vile violent murderous crimes, as rapes and murderers along with rapes and the murder of the rapes victims. There would be more kidnappings and then along with that, many times, the torture and murder of the innocent people who had been kidnapped. Also more robberies and vicious violent assaults on peaceful people by hooligans and well as more vile sex assaults.
There would be a sharp and awful increase of wife and child abuse. In addition there would be a terrible large inflation of riots along with the arson, looting and vandalism that is always part of it.
There would even in non-riots be an increase in home and business break- in’s with looting vandalism and physical harm committed against the peaceful people by thugs.
There can be no doubt that many people who now want the police to be defunded would be first to complain if they would become a victims of hooligans.
In conclusion the police definitely be well funded and supported and never defunded.
“Trans” is a mental illness. It’s also a spiritual illness. The Nashville L and T soldier targeted Christians for a reason. Her parents are members of the Covenant Presbyterian Church. They told her that as long as she lived under their roof, she was not to wear men’s clothing. She was 28 years old and still living at home.
She could have found a job, moved out, and directed her life as she saw fit, but no, she had to CORRECT her parents. She didn’t allow them their religious convictions. Why? Because LGBTQ propagandized her. In LGBTQ circles, Christians are literally the enemy.
Joe Bien tried to make a joke just before speaking about that murderous Nashville school shooting was , of course very inappropriate and further revealed his terrible judgment on a fitting time to attempt to tell a joke.
Nevertheless, else can anyone expect to come out of the month of that senseless idiot who is masquerading as a real, genuine, US President.
For pseudo “president” Biden is so very feeble –minded that he can’t even get an old saying right. For example, he said “Buy a man eat fish, the day, teach man to a lifetime.”
As the ancient Greek philosopher, Plato had, wisely, written, “The penalty for refusing to take part in politics is to be ruled men inferior to yourself.”
