Barack and Michelle Obama bemoaned the Supreme Court’s decision to end systemic racism in Students for Fair Admissions v Harvard.
The decision, which effectively ends legal affirmative action in universities for discriminating against Asian and white students, and violating the fundamental principles and laws of the United States of America, was not taken well by the Netflix power couple who took to Twitter to express their longing for systemic racism.
Obama tweeted, “Affirmative action was never a complete answer in the drive towards a more just society. But for generations of students who had been systematically excluded from most of America’s key institutions—it gave us the chance to show we more than deserved a seat at the table.”
That’s exactly the opposite of what affirmative action showed. And that’s a point that Justice Clarence Thomas made.
Affirmative action was premised on the idea that black students didn’t deserve a seat at the table and wouldn’t be there unless they had that seat given to them.
“My heart breaks for any young person out there who’s wondering what their future holds– and what kind of chances will be open to them,” Michelle Obama tweeted.
It is heartbreaking to think of all the students who will never have the chance to be judged on race, but will have to be judged on merit, who will never experience what it is like to be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
MICHELLE would never have gotten into any law school if she had not played the race card. she simply was not qualified.

College alumni whose admission resulted from affirmative action bear striking resemblance to legacy and merit admissions. An few excel. Most do not. Many are awarded degrees.
If one attends an institution of higher education to prepare for a life of contribution that rewards not only oneself but also others, gaining admission is necessary, but not sufficient. It remains a mystery how federal law can apply to admission policy in a truly private institution, since “equal protection under the law” logically only means protection for equality of the execution of laws by government. Thus, private institutions (unlike state schools) should neither receive government funds nor be commanded to obey government non-discrimination edicts.
However, in our land today, generations have been taught to believe that government may properly reach into the tiniest recesses of private associations and actions. The founders of our republic would be ashamed to find their heirs so cavalier about the foregone freedoms for which they risked so much.
Colleges and universities should absolutely be defunded by the federal and state governments except for ones such as Hillsdale College, College of the Ozarks, Grove City College, Liberty University and others which are dedicated to education and not Dirtbagocrat and “woke” indoctrination.
This comment from Michelle doesn’t surprise me. She and her husband are and have always been race baiters. The way I was raised is hard work and sacrifice is what, as she says, “gave (gives) us the chance to show we more than deserved a seat at the table.” Stop playing the “systematically racist society” crap.
