House Democrats claim that when Senator Chuck Grassley released the FD-1023, the confidential FBI document by a confidential informant alleging Biden misconduct in Ukraine, it contained a bunch of lies and endangered the informant who made them.
Bafflingly they’re making both arguments at the same time.
“Chairman Comer’s and Senator Grassley’s decision to publicly release the form is in brazen disregard of the safety of FBI human sources and the integrity of its investigations,” House Oversight Committee Democratic staff wrote to Democratic lawmakers in a memo obtained by The Hill.
“Contrary to Republican messaging, the form provides no new or additional support for their corruption allegations against the President or Hunter Biden. Instead, its release merely seeks to breathe new life into years-old conspiracy theories, initially peddled by Rudy Giuliani, that have been thoroughly debunked.”
So the FD-1023 form is just more of the same “conspiracy theories” that have been “thoroughly debunked” and the GOP was wrong to release it because it endangers the confidential human source who was spreading thoroughly debunked conspiracy theories?
It’s certainly nice of the Democrats to care so deeply about this spreader of debunked conspiracy theories, but if that anonymous person was making stuff up, surely he’s not in any danger, is he?
Either the allegations are legitimate materials from a real source or they’re debunked conspiracy theories, but they can’t be both at the same time.
Much as they be both true and false at the same time.
How dare Republicans endanger the life of that man spreading lies about Biden!
Pick one and stick with it. If the form contains lies, just dismiss them as a bunch of lies. But if House Dems want to argue that the form endangers a confidential informant, then the source is legitimate.
This failure of logic and reason is what happens when people make arguments that are politically convenient with no regard for consistency (as has become commonplace.) Dems, including in the DOJ and the FBI, need excuses to continue a fictional investigation to avoid having to hand over materials (such as the form) which means that they need to claim that it’s credible even as publicly they have to claim it’s not credible.
With the release of the form, worlds collided and the Democrats had to make both arguments at the same time. But completely self-contradictory and irrational arguments are no longer disqualifying or even noticeable.
Are we not denied access to J6 security tapes because facial recognition technology threatens to reveal government provocateurs?
We absolutely are denied access on that basis, and every American with a functioning brain and conscience knows it.
It infuriates me.
It’s become such a repeated pattern for Democrats to disavow truth as “previously debunked conspiracy theories” that they themselves have started to believe their own lies, while attempting to pedestal themselves as the eternal keepers of truth. Their vote to censor during the resent censorship hearings comes to mind.
While it’s true that truth proclaims no party affiliation, a party that fixates on being the gatekeepers of that truth are probably lying to you as a means of control. Actually, there’s no “probably” to it.
Lie and Deflect is all the Democrat party does anymore. LIe and deflect, lie and deflect, mostly to President Trump who may have broken some laws as I really don’t know for sure. Nobody has shown us any proof of that. However, anyone that thinks the Biden’s haven’t broken any laws, laws much more serious than what they are trying to stick to President Trump is deaf, dumb and blind. I think we have heard from enough eye witnesses and seen enough you tubes and documents now to know better. So, by all means you can’t believe what you see and hear with your own lying eyes and ears! Any yet, most Senate republicans, Rhinos and Democrats say nothing about any of the nefarious things Democrats are doing to stop the truth from coming out, no Democrat except Robert F. Kennedy Junior who they censor.
They screamed for Trump’s taxes like banshees. Then, a probably unconstitutional and Unprecedented release of a citizen (Trump)’s taxes and what did they find? “ oh never mind!”
He has had zero history of law breaking. He took no salary while in office!. He lost money while in office. He has suffered incredible abuse on proven false charges as has anyone who has tried to support or help him.
I really find it offensive when some feel it necessary to accuse him just to show they’re above it all. Giving silly credibility to obvious politicized vicious attacks.
Anyone can be shown to break some law, traffic law, tax law, real estate law. Why even mention it?
Or lets begin begin with Pelosi family insider trading, Biden family behavior toward children, Hillary Clinton is fair game too.
Our garbage “news media’s” coddling of the Dems for so long has conditioned them to know they can take mutually contradictory positions at the same time and no one will call them out on it.
The American people have lost their trust in Biden his polls are tanking and the M.S. Media scratch their heads and wonder why
I’ve heard of a lot of claims that have been “thoroughly debunked”, where I never actually heard any of the debunking.

#3 Moisten the person or object of the procedure with Holy Water
#4 If the Holy Water foams, the debunking is proceeding
#5 An absence of foam indicates a previous debunking.
I thought everyone knew this. Not knowing would be comparable to taking shop or home economics and not being able to make a cutting board or a casserole.
Thinking back, I don’t recall the Democrats ever having debunked any of the criticisms made against them.
