Some dewy-eyed optimists seriously thought that the Biden family was huddling to announce he was dropping out of the race. And then right after that they were going to announce that all the money raised for the campaign was going to be given away to charity.
Obviously, none of that was going to happen so instead they huddled to find someone to blame for Biden’s debate during which he randomly said crazy things in front of the country. Someone who wasn’t Joe Biden.
Members of Joe Biden’s family privately trashed his top campaign advisers at Camp David this weekend, blaming them for the president’s flop in Thursday’s debate and urging Biden to fire or demote people in his political high command.
The blame was cast widely on staffers, including: Anita Dunn, the senior adviser who frequently has the president’s ear; her husband, Bob Bauer, the president’s attorney who played Trump in rehearsals at Camp David; and Ron Klain, the former chief of staff who ran point on the debate prep and previous cycles’ sessions.
I don’t especially care for Anita ‘Mao’ Dunn but somehow I’m skeptical that she’s to blame for Biden turning a question about abortion into a speech about illegal aliens and the conclusion that “there’s a lot of young women who are being raped by their – by their in-laws, by their – by their spouses, brothers and sisters, by – just – it’s just – it’s just ridiculous.”
One of the strongest voices imploring Mr. Biden to resist pressure to drop out was his son Hunter Biden, whom the president has long leaned on for advice, said one of the people informed about the discussions, who, like others, spoke on condition of anonymity to share internal deliberations.

The Biden family should absolutely keep firing advisers every time Biden says something stupid. They’ll run out of advisers long before the election. But maybe Hunter can take that position. It’s not like foreign governments are giving away board seats anymore.
So long as Hunter has someone in the White House to pardon him, all is right with the world.

That’s truly an odd twist of history.
Just when I think this country cannot get any worse…….the debate happens. For the love of God, Biden is GONE. I despise the man….and even I felt a little bit sorry for him.
That being said, if he “wins” in November, there had better be a full investigation. That debate was an absolute train wreck. 🙄

I have no doubt Hunter was in favor of the old man to stay. Hunter has hopes of an evergreen pardon, one that renews after every offence. In that way his old lifestyle can resume, although he may have to put himself on a budget.
Jill doesn’t want to give up the fabulous lifestyle she is accustomed to. Hunter doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life in court rooms and jails. I am sure many other family members are a little of both.

With Old Joe out of the picture Hunter will be unable to sell any political influence for the big bucks he’s become accustomed to.
And with Joe out of office, who will want to buy Hunter’s “art”?
Oh, the Dems shouldn’t worry. They just give ABC’s Snuffleufagous an exclusive interview where Biden will have the questions in advance and editing rights to the final result and all will be good in Dem world. The media has been unrelentingly Jedi mind-tricking the American public since, at least, 2008. If Joe decides to stay in the media will double down on him being the best Joe Biden ever.
Without political power and the ill-gotten wealth that often accompanies it, Joe Biden and his family don’t know how to do or be ANYTHING.

The truth is Biden was not that smart even when he was younger. I have never been impressed with him.
