Night 1 of the DNC was a horror story. Call it the Night of the Democrat Undead.
Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden returned from the land of political oblivion to haunt the stage by giving the same speech they had given before and that had failed to win them the support of the nation and the party. Joe Biden raved about democracy while Hillary Clinton once again claimed that “it takes a village.”
It takes a village alright.
In theory this was supposed to a party unity night with two key failed presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, advancing Kamala as their rightful heir to carry on their battle. In practice, it reminded everyone of how tired they were of both of them.
Some of Kamala’s new team appears to be savvy enough to be aware of that. Bring out Hillary and Biden to do their respective shtick (glass ceilings and J6) and suddenly Kamala appears fresh. At least she isn’t talking about that or much of anything. Random word salads and kindergarten level explications may be tedious but it’s better than another speech about feminism from a serial sex predator’s mate.
For audiences tuning in for the two big figures, DNC night 1’s policy agenda was a crazy cross-breeding of abortion and unions.
What do they have in common? Nothing. It’s a confused underwhelming agenda heavy on partisan political figures, AOC and Warnock, and really obscure ones, Beshear and Coons, who are not about to become national figures.
Republicans are struggling to sell themselves, but where RNC Night 1 was slick, DNC Night 1 had elderly party figures give speeches accompanied by a promise of mandatory unionization and lots of abortions. And anyone who doesn’t like that had better like Hillary chant “lock him up” for the hundredth time to media adulation and Biden shaking his fist like a dementia patient in a nursing home demanding a fresh cup of jello.
I don’t know whom the Night of the Living Democrat Dead was for, but it wasn’t for America.
I watched as much as I could stand (which wasn’t long), but I found the whole charade to be a study in contrast and dichotomy. Not between conservatives and liberals (those differences are self-evident), but between what liberals SAY they are and what they ACTUALLY are.
1) The party of “inclusivity” that are making sure Stein, West and Kennedy aren’t on any ballot. Jill Stein called them “fascists” and rightly so.
2) Bumping Grandpa Joe from prime time to late night, WAY past his bedtime, then shouting “We love Joe” after he completed his last mandatory assignment as pResident. Multiple vacations to follow. Who’s in charge again?
3) The party of “faith” with unisex bathrooms, prayer rooms and the PP abortion bus in the parking lot.
4) The focus on the little people out there (that they care nothing about) and how those responsible for the economy and the border crisis are gonna turn things around.
All I know is, if there truly is a large portion of American society that believes what these snake oil salesman are selling…well then, America is already lost. I hope I’m wrong.

You’re right. That’s why no one has the formula to defeat the dims and most of what we do at all levels is useless.
There are practical ways of defeating and reversing the propaganda/ brainwash but since it’s not recognized we of course don’t have a strategy, much less the cohesion to do so.

Yes, and the scary thing is that they don’t even care. They don’t believe in anything except their warped agendas. I understand those people but I sure don’t empathize with them.
Me personally, I want to preserve my soul and go to Heaven. I still remember those hideous Hieronymus Bosch paintings I looked at when I was young and Hell is NOT where I want to end up. It’s a big reason I didn’t commit suicide when I lost my son. Maybe Hell doesn’t exist but I’m not going to take a chance.
