Now the same machine is upset that RFK Jr dropped out and endorsed Trump. There’s all sorts of muttering about a “deal”. As if candidates don’t routinely drop out as part of a deal. Like the deal that Obama negotiated back in 2020 to get the party to unify around Biden. And whatever hellish terms were used to get Biden to drop out and make way for Kamala. There’s a whole litany of candidates who run in primaries purely to drop out and make a deal. All of this, except the part about ousting a nominee, is political business as usual.
As usual, though it’s “different when we do it.”
That is to say that right and wrong are purely situational and political norms are transactional. Completely insane things like the Biden coup are treated as completely normal whereas completely normal things, a candidate dropping out and transferring his support, is portrayed as abnormal for entirely political reasons.

I suspect they are more upset about his speech highlighting the lack of democracy in the DNC and the MSM’s collusion with the DNC. They have themselves to blame. If they had just let their voters have a choice, he probably would have dropped out anyway (due to his anti-vaccine stance – not just Covid) and endorsed Biden.
Of course there was a deal. And I think it went something like this: RFK Jr: “Ok, here’s the deal. I drop out of the race, and then I don’t take any of your crap any more.”
This is laughable. Rfk went to the Dems first, begging for a job if he dropped out. It was fully expected from this nut job.
Sadly the negative comments about RFKJr endorsing Trump are not confined to just the Democrat Party. His entire family has publicly turned on him. His siblings, nieces, nephews and his own wife and kids! Tammy Bruce pulls no punches. But let RFKJr support Trump and his whole family rushes to shame him on X . What. a disgrace! I’ve always thought Bobby KennedyJr was the best of the surviving family for his heroic work on Children’s Health, Childhood Vaccines and Chronic Disease. I am proudly MAGA and welcome RFKJr to our very large Tent. I have seen in my long life that people with real courage recognize it in others. Donald J Trump, JD Vance, Dr. Ben Carson and Robert Kennedy.Jr will inspire bravery in many Americans. And I know in my heart if JFKJr were alive today, HE of all the Kennedys, would stand up for his Uncle out of simple respect and human kindness.
Ive heard his wife stated her support for her husband. And that he has stated he has a big family with some who do support him. One nasty public letter should be seen as just that and let’s allow that there are others who do not agree with that letter but do not want to be in the public eye.
