Many Americans concerned about the fate of our country are asking themselves why the election polls seem so close. The Chinese have a piece of wisdom that suggests an answer: To restore civil sanity and order it is first necessary to call things by their right names. Whether out of politeness or cowardice, Republicans are lame at this. As many of us have pointed out too many times to no avail, Democrats reflexively call conservatives racists, white supremacists and Hitlerites, while Republicans respond by calling them “liberals.” What is liberal about attacking, undermining and seeking to abolish the First Amendment? Or interfering with presidential elections by mobilizing a corrupt judiciary to take the leading Republican out of the race? Or calling for government censorship of social media platforms, or privileging certain races over others?
In the current presidential campaign, Democrats in the media seek to distract voters from the conditions Democrats have inflicted on them by defaming Trump as “an existential threat to democracy.” Republicans respond by referring to the fact, that Democrats have “weaponized” the Justice Department. Even if a voter understands that weaponize does not mean providing the FBI and federal police agencies with weapons, it sorely lacks the emotional charge of Hitlerism – although that is exactly what it means. If justice is not blind but becomes a partisan force to criminalize political opponents like Trump then the logical goal of weaponizing justice is a one-party dictatorship and a totalitarian state. Or, as Hillary has put it, without government censorship of the media “we will lose total control.”
Democrats criminalize arguments and facts they can’t answer by calling them “disinformation.” In a campaign worthy of the KGB, the Democrat Secretary of State suborned 51 top intelligence officials including the former head of the CIA to sign a letter calling Hunter Biden’s treasonous lap top “Russian disinformation” right before the 2020 election. This behavior is not just about winning elections, which it was and would be bad enough. It’s about betraying your country and fellow countrymen.
Republicans are rightly alarmed that the Democrats have destroyed America’s borders, let in an estimated 20 million unvetted individuals including hundreds of thousands of convicted criminals, virtually all from countries and continents ruled by corrupt dictators and fanatic terrorists. They are shocked by the Democrats determination to give these illegal aliens the right to vote along with more goods and privileges than the indigenous population.
But they are tongue-tied when it comes to calling these policies what they are: criminal and treasonous attacks on our country and its Constitution. Joe Biden had no legal authority to change America’s immigration policies by executive order. Immigration policy is the purview of the legislative branch of government not the destructive schemes of one demented executive. Destroying the border is the greatest crime committed against America in its 237-year history. It is not a run of the mill policy difference.
When Trump attempted as president to begin deporting immigration criminals, he was forced to temporarily separate their children, leaving them in the care of Border Control agents in facilities that Obama had built. He had no choice while the parents were being processed because U.S. law forbids incarcerating children for their parents criminal acts. Trump terminated his efforts after two months.
The Democrats’ seized on this situation to smear Trump as a heartless Nazi, calling the Obama-built facilities they were housed in reminiscent of Auschwitz. President Joe Biden led the charge saying that Trump had ripped babies out of their mothers’ arms and then incarcerated them in “concentration camp” facilities. When Biden became president, he and his administration invited “unaccompanied minors” to make the dangerous trek through the hemisphere’s jungles with Mexican drug cartels as their guides. While Trump had separated 4,000 children for two months, the Democrats’ policy successfully lured nearly a million minors separated from their parents for an indefinite stay. In 2024 the Department of Homeland Security revealed that they had “lost” 350,000 of these children and had no way to find them. Since the cartels were active in the sex trafficking trade and in breaking America’s child labor laws it was not too difficult to guess where the missing children had been taken.
It is difficult to fathom how callous the hearts of the Democrats have become. They not only lie about their political opponents but do so while pretending to keen over the suffering of lost children when frankly they don’t give a damn – anymore than they care about their country and its people. What they care about is winning the power to censor and control their political opponents so they can be free to “re-imagine” the American future whatever the human cost.

Americans drowning in debt trying to keep up – illegals entrenched in cities
and communities while committing crimes, trashing neighborhoods,
depleting services – out of control crime everywhere with impunity – two
tiered justice (J6 prisoners, lawfare against Trump) – great American cities
unrecognizable and destroyed from homelessness and drugs. And so

And all the stuff that hovers at the edge of our consciousness from the two
evil fiends in the picture above. They have”lost” 350,000 little ones and older
children. That is monstrous. That is enough for them to send the army to

would fill over five massive football stadiums. That may not be directly
impacting American lives but it is a cold hard fact about the evil indifference
engulfing us now.
And it is tragic that most Americans today either know someone or know of
someone in their working, social or personal life who has overdosed on drugs
and died. That is unconscionable but okay with Kamala and the Big Guy. The
other day on Long Island in the more rundown section of Bellport, a dealer was
found with 15 lbs of Fentanyl – enough to kill every living human on the island.
Imagine that scene repeated relentlessly across the vastness of the United
States. Death and destruction from the cartels is also all around us now –
in addition to their billion dollar likely sex trafficking of hundreds of thousands
of innocent children. It may hover at the edge of our awareness but it impacts
us horribly nonetheless.
Kamala has been forced on us by the tyranny-hungry global communists.

I’m dating a chick who knew a young girl down the street who was found dead in some bushes. Her bodily system was loaded with fentanyl and she’d fallen over an upstairs balcony of an apartment building, the poor foolish girl. Either she died of an overdosed and pitched over the railing or the fentanyl caused her to fall off but either way, it was the fentanyl that killed her.
My friend used to warn her about her foolish lifestyle and not to hang out and have sex with gutter scum guys but people like that rarely listen to good advice. It’s a shame. Nobody should die from dumb choices but nothing good can come from close association with human trash.

The military industrial complex is too big and strong to eliminate. Redirect it from building bombs and tanks to space industry projects. Colonize the moon and Mars in an all out effort. Team up with the private sector. We colonized the earth for spices and yellow metal. We will find lots of stuff out there to use and bring back. In WWII the industrial base turned overnight to produce ships and planes. It can turn again and fast. The whole preexisting lobbying system can redirect to this purpose – once valuable stuff is identified out there in space for the entreprenuring class to profit from. Like the Hudson Bay Company of old.
A bit off topic but fun to speculate.
I would redirect money from the military-industrial complex and then not spend it on anything else. Eliminate the income tax and then replace that lost revenue with nothing.
I would eliminate property taxes, too. It’s not as though people buy homes from the government.
And America should use it’s unmatched natural resources to fund itself and help our citizens rather than bleeding us dry, the way the governments of Sweden and even craphole Mexico, among many others, are wise enough to do.
The enrichment of private companies which get access to resources at the expense of the American people is tyrannical. They should be long to the American citizenry and capitalized by “our” government.
Mining the moon for its natural resources and those introduced by meteorites may be possible in my lifetime but I seriously doubt it because it’s currently impossible and I’m already 60 years old.
Any mission to Mars in my lifetime, which is unlikely to the point of absurdity, would be a death sentence for every astronaut on it because America and the rest of humanity just aren’t capable of landing on Mars and returning any time soon. If colonization is ever achieved, It’ll happen in the far flung future. Claims to the contrary are fantasy, not science fiction or a real possibility.

The Democrat Party is not democratic and should not ever be called the Democratic Party, which has apparently settled into general usage. What is the official designation? I believe it is Democrat Party. This should become an issue. It is one more example of control of language.
The United States is not a democracy or a republic. Anyone with any knowledge of American history knows that. It is an organization of appointed officials in the Senate or the House who represent the lobbyists, who in turn represent the elites or special interest groups who make the real decisions affecting our lives. Of course, they go thru the motion of an election, but they determine who the candidates will be to run. Its all a game every two years.
The American Empire was created to compete with the British and French Empire in 1776. The United States expanded its empire from its original thirteen states to what we are today.
America was founded to disengage from Europe’s pathologies and take advantage of beneficial cooperation such as trade, not to be a competitor, and America has never been an Empire. Foreign lands which were beaten in wars were not annexed and many were allowed to join America, even places that weren’t defeated in war, Like many South Pacific island nations.
America is described as a constitutional republic because “representatives” are elected and they’re supposed to appoint government officials according to the laws in the Constitution.

When David Horowitz passes (hopefully he lives another ten years), and if the country’s present direction has not changed, it will be difficult not to see it as the final nail being driven into the coffin of what was once a great republic. Republicans are way too polite and subtle in their criticism of Democrats, hoping that many voters will be convinced that the Republicans are more civil than the Democrats as if that will ever convince someone to vote for them.
Anyone who is undecided needs to be moved emotionally not intellectually and the Democrats understand this. The Republicans have started calling Democrats Marxists (which they are), however, many people, especially younger people, who have been indoctrinated by their Marxist teachers, don’t understand that it will result in an impoverished, totalitarian state.
Republicans need to be much more graphic and accurate in describing how awful this country and the entire world will become under Democratic rule.
Though I have long admired David and much of his writing, I am rather surprised that he does not see through Trump’s narcissism and endless self aggrandizement, event at the cost of the Republic. simply cannot agree with him or most of his followers these days.
