Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations continue to be a top target for Islamic terrorists in Europe and America.
After multiple Islamic terror attacks and plots in Europe around the season, Muslim terror struck in America. The target of the Jihadist assault on a non-Muslim celebration were the celebrations on Bourbon Street. The narrow sidewalks and streets, and dense crowds made it a perfect target for the Muslim terrorist who drove into a crowd, killing 10 and wounding 35.

In keeping with previous Muslim Car Jihad attacks, Shamsud Din Jabbar drove a truck into the crowd, then opened fire, and presumably intended to detonate the IEDs in his vehicle, but as in previous attacks, the explosives did not work. Shamsud is currently being linked to ISIS or perhaps ISIS-K based on a flag in the vehicle and that would certainly be plausible, but what is important to remember is that ISIS is just the current trendiest form of Islamic terrorism in Muslim circles.
The underlying issue is not the group, it’s the creed. The underlying issue is not ISIS, it’s Islam.
Shamsud Din Jabbar appears to have expressed interest in Islamic studies, doing “research on hadith” and exploring “the semantics of the Quran and Sunnah together with textual analytics.” He was a black convert to Islam.
After Islam became a major presence, we can no longer have any kind of festival without Islamic terrorists or pro-Hamas mobs attacking everything from Christmas Tree lightings to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade to New Year’s in New Orleans.

I just got a call from my oldest daughter. She and her son are visiting New Orleans and were about two blocks away from the attack when it occurred. They had been on Bourbon Street about a half-hour before the attack. They are ok, but she is pretty shaken up.

Long ago, I never thought the US would invite islam, especially not after seeing what´s happening in Europe.
Before immigration, we didn´t have a word for gang rape, assault rape, knife attack, honor killing.
Now knife attacks are almost daily in my country here up in the north.

Also, the underlying reality is that the war waged on the West by Islam is a religious one.
A religious war between Islam and Christianity broke out some 1400 years ago and was fought as such by the two sides until mid 17 century when it was decisively won by Christianity leaving Islam crushed and relegated to the periphery of history.
The war has been reignited some six decades ago, except that now it’s only Islam that continues fighting it as a religious war, while the West does everything to convince itself of its own progressiveness by refusing to “stoop” to a role of a religiously motivated, “primitive and benighted” bigot. So it insists on cheating itself believing it will win religious war by limiting itself to fighting terrorism instead of fighting religion by all moral means including, of course, military.

People must learn that if you are going to attend street parties, such as New Years Eve parties. Juneteenth parties, German Christmas Street fair style celebrations, etc., be on the look out for an Islamic Jihadist truck attack. They are becoming more common. Or avoid these street parties altogether.
