Republicans who vow to defy court rulings are waging a war on democracy while Democrats who threaten to defy court rulings are being heroic.
“Today, a woefully misguided majority of the United States Supreme Court has decided that businesses open to the public may, in certain circumstances, discriminate against LGBTQ+ Americans. While my office is still reviewing the decision to determine its effects, I agree with Justice Sotomayor – the idea that the Constitution gives businesses the right to discriminate is “profoundly wrong.”
“Despite today’s ruling, Arizona law prohibits discrimination in places of public accommodation, including discrimination because of sexual orientation and gender identity,” Kris Mayes, Arizona Attorney General, warned.
Mayes is entitled to disagree with a Supreme Court, she is not however entitled to ignore or defy that decision. And her language is strongly suggestive of the idea that she wants to defy the decision.
And that’s illegal.
The Supreme Court has sent some very clear messages that freedom of religion cannot take a backseat to anything.
Mayes is suggesting that she’ll force single-sex female spaces to open up to men in dresses and that she’ll keep harassing religious people who don’t go along with the agenda.
They like the court only when their agenda is affirmed….but remember this IS Arizona, after all

The American Revolution was defiant and illegal. What is legal and what is moral are not necessarily the same thing. Slavery was legal, now it isn’t.
The issue here is not freedom of religion but freedom of conscience and private property rights. In a free society a bigot has the right to be a bigot, a moron has the right to be a moron, a genius has the right to be a genius, within the sphere of his private property, and so long as he does not initiate force or fraud on another person. So long as he does not violate the legitimate rights of another individual.
Your actual rights are not being violated because a Christian baker refuses to bake a wedding cake for your homosexual wedding. Forcing another individual to do your will against his will is not a right.

I’m pretty sure the coast of India is a bit removed from America and the Revolutionary War. 🙂 The war ended in 1883 but I seriously doubt there was any correlation. But read up! The battle of Cuddalore sounds interesting. I’m going to look it up, not that I trust stuff written on the web.
