Sen. Bernie Sanders is on a self-proclaimed “Fighting Oligarchy” tour by which he means that he’s protesting the results of the 2024 election.
But speaking of oligarchy, one could hardly do worse than Bernie’s own Sanders Institute, which is headed by David Driscoll, Bernie’s stepson, who has taken in an estimated $800,000 since Bernie’s failed presidential campaign.
The Sanders Institute is a 501(c)(3) and is not supposed to be run for personal enrichment. Despite that, Bernie’s stepson took in around $150,000, when counting benefits, in 2023. He’s been on the payroll since at least 2018.
(Some calendar years are missing since the Sanders Institute appears to be pretty lousy at filing paperwork and its secretary is Danny Glover. Yes, that Danny Glover. Who is also listed as a ‘fellow’ at the Institute. All of this seems like a non-profit management nightmare, but fortunately, the IRS will never look askance at a left-wing nonprofit.)
Other fellows of this oligarchic mess include Bernie’s wife, Jane O’Meara Sanders, who is also its co-founder, AOC, Rep. Ro Khanna, Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Tucker Carlson fave Jeffrey Sachs, Naomi Klein, James Zogby, Cornel West and Harry Belafonte (who died in 2023).
Where does the Sanders Institute get the money to pay Bernie’s deadbeat son? The Institute claims between $200,000 and $300,000 in contributions and grants annually.
In the past, some of that money has come from Bernie’s campaign which was caught sending $200,000 to the Sanders Institute. The latest numbers suggest that Bernie is still looting his campaign to pay his stepson.
That’s technically legal, but practically corrupt. Or oligarchic.
Someone pointed out that the reason Bernie doesn’t want to talk about running with AOC is that he *IS* running with AOC.

Wait Bernie is so talented. Failing at everything in life except politics. Politics from cities to Washington Feds has become held in so low regard that most Americans with any ethics will run for office. When the grifters and the corrupt take complete control it will be the end of our Republic.

The plans people like Bernie Sanders have for redistributing the wealth that was extracted by Billionaires wouldn’t even touch someone “as rich” as Bernie. (Because he’s poor by the quantity of money we’re talking about it). But even if it did, he’s literally campaigning to do the thing where we make this planet better for *everyone*. That includes you, but yeah, hate him I guess. Not the people selling out the country, embarrassing the US on the world stage, actively hurt our international allies, oh and *by far* be the demographic that sexually assaults children! The MSM? Surely you jest! That story is real news. The MSM doesn’t do real news. What they report is their opinion of what they think is “news”(e.g., feel good stories, liberal vagaries, leftist dogma and TDS induced lies, distortions and bullsh*t.) Supermarket tabloids does a better job of reporting the news than the MSM.
Unfortunately that is where a majority of Americans have their opinions formed. Its a big reason why the Country has been ruined so far.

Bernie and AOC like all Marxists consider themselves the vanguards of the party in which they make the rules for others but never follow themselves. They punish and purge the party of the counter-revolutionary elements they define and of course never includes them. They feast on the best created by the serfs that of course is their right. They feast on the best because they are the pinnacle of their progressive hierarchy. Yes they are hypocrites but they will never admit it to others or themselves.
About oligarchies, one curious aspect is that the members of the oligarchy in power can shift depending on what their current interests are.
Like one small oligarchy may control the country at one point, a different oligarchy with different members may control the country at another point.
Example: one oligarchy may be rule by the rich, another oligarchy may be rule by an ethnic minority.
I’m just trying to get a better idea of what oligarchy means, not trying to preach about it 🙂
The official definition seems to be rule by a few. Example the small minority of Alawites, former rulers of Syria, who recently came to a bad end at the hands of Sunni terrorists. The Rose of the Desert had to move elsewhere.
The thing about Bernie is that he’s not that rich. As far as I know. Most of his unearned wealth is still relatively new. I mean, compared to the rest of them. He is definitely still poor. Compared to the rest of the swamp dwellers, Bernie is once again the laziest one.

That’s the way it is with commies, their whole family makes money. Many people believe a “socialist” isn’t as bad as a communist, but Marx used the two terms interchangeably. Bernie is a full fledged commie. So is his good friend Tulsi Gabbard who Trevor Loudon wrote about in his book WHITE HOUSE REDS. Tulsi and Bernie are really good friends, and Tulsi also belongs to a cult as does her husband and family. And the leader of that cult, a man named Butler, wanted Tulsi in politics for his own interests and purpose. Who vetted her? My guess is no one.

Advisor for the real National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz. Here’s the caveat. Waltz’s wife is Julia Nesheiwat. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Affairs, the World Economic Forum and the globalist Atlantic Monthly. Her sister, who promoted the Covid jabs for everyone on national TV has been named as the nominee for Surgeon General, Janette Nesheiwat.
