Everyone watching Hezbollah shelling Israeli towns and cities might want to ask themselves how long until that’s our border. The scenario is less farfetched than some might think. There are cartel armies with some heavy firepower on the other side of the border.
An alert going out to the Border Patrol warns of military-grade weapons being found on the Mexico side of the border near Ajo, Arizona.
Weapons located, per the alert, include four rocket-propelled grenades and eight improvised explosive devices, also known as IEDs, as well as a large amount of ammunition. A scout site was also discovered and then dismantled by Mexican officials.
IEDs found, per the alert, are consistent with those being used by transnational criminal organizations during recent drone attacks in northern Sonora.
Drone attacks. IEDs. RPGs. But nothing to worry about.
Sources within the agency tell NewsNation they’re confident that these weapons would not be used on the U.S. side of the border, especially against law enforcement, as that type of escalation would be horrible for business. However, other agents say because behavior coming out of the criminal cartels has been uncharacteristic lately, they are preparing for anything.
What’s horrible for business and unthinkable may become unexpectedly good for business and quite thinkable.
Weapons like that aren’t brought to a location unless there were plans or intention to use them.
Who are the likely targets? US border patrol? Unarmed citizens? Churches, Synagogues or ? ? ? ? ? ?

Why not just post a few WELL TRAINED SNIPERS in the area and wait for the “depositors” to return? One well placed round in one of those ied’s would probably cause all the others to “join in”!! For those who know something of weaponry, there was an interesting video clip about a year ago where a reporter (from Fox?) was sitting with a border security agent on a hill overlooking the Rio Grande, with Juarez on the other side. In the distance, one could hear the rapid rat-a-tat of gunfire. The agent looked at the camera and said “Hear that? That’s full auto.” Meaning, of course, that the cartels are using actual machine guns in their wars with the Federales and each other.

As our troops learned in the Sandbox IEDs are used to spread terror on Citizens trying to go about their normal lives! When you have to run through check points on your road it will add hours to your trip. Also expect suicide vehicles to kill our police and soldiers. Then armed attacks to terrorize local citizens away from the main roads. Standard guerilla warfare tactics! The best guess is it takes 10 soldiers for every guerilla.
