One of the most rancid elements of the corrupt Washington establishment is the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which the Biden regime utilized as one of its foremost attacks dogs in its endeavor to criminalize political opposition and intimidate Americans into silence about its sinister polices. Now, however, the Trump administration is sending in a man to clean house, and the bureau may actually be forced to start investigating threats to the American people instead of harassing and persecuting the American people themselves.
On Thursday, the Senate confirmed Patel on a 51-49 vote, with Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-Supposedly) and Susan Collins (R-Yeah, Sure) voting against yet another Trump nominee. Nevertheless, Patel is in, and this is an extraordinary and heartening development: Patel has for years been a harsh critic of the far-left, highly politicized, and deeply corrupt FBI. A thoroughgoing housecleaning appears to be in the offing — unless the deep state that Patel will be targeting manages to defeat him in a head-on confrontation.
When he nominated Patel for this office back on Nov. 30, 2024, Trump said:
Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and “America First” fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People. He played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution. Kash did an incredible job during my First Term, where he served as Chief of Staff at the Department of Defense, Deputy Director of National Intelligence, and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council. Kash has also tried over 60 jury trials. This FBI will end the growing crime epidemic in America, dismantle the migrant criminal gangs, and stop the evil scourge of human and drug trafficking across the Border. Kash will work under our great Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to bring back Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity to the FBI.
Patel may very well do just that. Certainly, it is something he has made no secret about wanting very much to do. Back in August, Patel was asked what he would do if he did become the director of the FBI, and his answer was pure gold.
“One of my biggest personal recommendations,” Patel said, “is you shut down the FBI headquarters building and open it up the next day as the Museum of the Deep State, and you send those 7000 agents in the headquarters building down range to chase down rapists, to chase down murderers, to chase down drug traffickers and let the cops be cops on the streets across America. You keep a small contingent in Washington, D.C. That’s step one.”
That was a heady enough recommendation in itself, and Patel was just getting started. The desperately corrupt FBI of Old Joe Biden and Merrick Garland, which abandoned all pretense of being politically neutral and did its level best to frame Donald Trump for bogus crimes so as to hamstring his presidency or drive him out of the Oval Office altogether, did it all behind the most pious of veneers. As the Biden/Garland FBI threw aside all standards of ethics and decency in its effort to get Trump, its overlords and allies would schoolmarmishly remind us that “no one is above the law.”
They did that while assuming that they themselves were above the law, and would never be held accountable for turning the Federal Bureau of Investigation into a weapon of partisan politics and the most scurrilous of political dirty tricks. And it wasn’t just Trump. This was the FBI that relentlessly downplayed or ignored altogether the very real threat of Islamic jihad while insisting that “white supremacists” were the biggest terror threat facing the nation today. And by “white supremacists,” they meant patriotic and law-abiding Americans who supported Trump, or opposed abortion, or didn’t like Critical Race Theory being forced upon their children in primary school. They meant you and they meant me.
Patel signaled that all that would come to an end on his watch, saying in that August interview: “You get rid of half of the legion of lawyers and special counsels that exist within the FBI to do one thing, to corrupt and obstruct government oversight from constitutionally applicable committees in Congress.” Bravo. And even that wasn’t all.
Patel concluded: “Another aspect of it is one of the biggest institutions in the FBI that has been troubled and politicized and weaponized has been their intel component. We have an Intel agency. I don’t need it to be redone within the walls of the FBI. We’ve shown when we’ve given them that power what they do to it, they unlawfully surveil a president as a candidate. So those are three quick things that we could rattle off that would be my recommendation to reform the FBI.”
Now Kash Patel has a chance to clean one of the filthiest of Augean Stables in Washington. All patriotic Americans should hope and pray that he succeeds.

Yes, let’s hope for all that and more. And all the hard drives in the DC FBI Headquarters building need to be scanned and read by the appropriate computer geeks. The same goes for field offices, especially the 20 which President Trump had purged of their corrupt heads.
Patel said back in November that the first thing he would like to do if he had the power, which he now does, is to close down the headquarters, turn it into a museum and send its agents out across the country to actually do their fucking jobs and catch federal criminals – which includes jihadis – instead of persecuting political opponents of the Dirtbagocrat party, parents concerned with the DEI and tranny indoctrination of their kids and keening about fictional white supremacists.
Let’s hope he purges as much FBI shit as possible. Flush those turds!

The corruption levels are incredibly high. It will take several administrations to clean it up if we continue to elect honest people. That is the problem.
Our government today is no different than the fascists across the Spanish speaking world of the last century. Bureaucracy is a job designed to be a career path while filling your pockets. Our illusions about these crooks has now left us with little or no chance to reverse the process.
Will Garland and all of his little friends be arrested and put in jail or at least on trial? I doubt it. This will be the signal that the scum can just wait out Trump and get back to serious corruption. That will be the test of our society, seeing if we push back against the worms that feed on our detritus. Honest democratic principles have failed in Britain and we are the last hope of our concept of a free government. I doubt it works out well.

If I may suggest, corruption in America is a little bit different than most other countries around the world in that American politicians are sophisticated and clever enough to codify corruption into law.
A classic example is the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs) all written by the federal bureaucracy and not congress. As of December 2024, there are over 190,000 pages in the CFRs and growing. And most licenses fees, permit fees and so forth arose out of greed, corruption and outright grift.
Other countries are just as corrupt but lack the level of sophistication of the American political system. The US Constitution is an ironclad document but has many holes in it that greedy, corrupt and clever politicians exploit to their and their friends (i.e., “donors”) benefit.
For those reasons, I have long since stop accusing other countries of being corrupt. The pot can’t call the skillet black.

Murkowski actually lost the Republican primary once and then ran as an independent, somehow “winning” with write-in ballots. Where are the “sore loser” laws when we need them.

Say what you want about blue state Republicans but their “R” label enables “R’s” to pick the chairmen of committees. They also caucus with the rest of the R’s, and vote with the R’s at least occasionally. If all you gain, by running red state R’s in blue states, is a new D then what have you gained? One particular action by the previous Director was to SUSPEND the Security Clearance of Agents. That prevented them from getting PAID by the FBI while their “cases” were reviewed – NO SET TIME TO REVIEW!!! It also prevented them from obtaining OUTSIDE EMPLOYMENT OR ACCEPTING GIFTS to merely SURVIVE!! One agent was TRANSFERRED to DC – sold his HOME – and MOVED to DC with his PREGNANT WIFE and three kids. He had his clearance “suspended” when he reported to work in DC!! No pay – no option for another job – no outside support – no DECENT treatment! Many of the Agents treated this way had been ACCUSED of being “adversed” to the actions or policies being used by the FBI! They did NOTHING WRONG – they were PERSECUTED – and the only way out for most of them was to RESIGN! I do hope that there is a Task Force assigned to review those cases and make those people whole!
Now, as much as the SUSPENDED Security Clearance was used as a POLITICAL weapon by the biden bunglers, it should be a TOOL to be used NOW when ACTUAL crimes/abuse./fraud/treason are found! Any of those 5,000 Grandma Hunters who did anything outside their LEGAL Authority should have their Security Clearance SUSPENDED until the Investigation is complete! And it’s NOT RETRIBUTION – NOR POLITICAL – it’s LEGALITY!!
