The ERA was once the great white hope of feminists. Now the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) is the great hope of those who want to eliminate the ladies’ room, women’s sports, and women.
A coalition of more than 100 lawmakers wrote a letter on Sunday urging President Biden to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), which would outlaw gender discrimination in the Constitution.
“We must continue our efforts to fully affirm and recognize the equality of rights for all people, regardless of sex, as part of our Constitution, a vital effort that has never been more urgent,” Congress members penned.
“People”. Not women. Which people do they mean? Men in dresses.
Reps. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) and Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.), co-chairs of the Congressional Caucus for the Equal Rights Amendment, have long advocated for Biden to take action toward instating equal rights under the law.
They cited concerns for gender-affirming health care requested by transgender minors and the rise in state abortion bans as reasons for the president to ratify the amendment.
The ERA wouldn’t stop abortion bans, but it would be a very useful tool in fighting efforts against castrating kids.
The origins of the ERA were a pretty straightforward effort to prevent legal discrimination against women. Its original backers would have been horrified at the idea of reducing the ERA and womens’ rights to a defense of killing children, let alone to reducing it to the rights of men to pretend to be women.
Let’s for a moment go back to Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s defense of the ERA.
As a sample of laws destined for the scrap heap if the amendment is ratified, consider these: Arizona law stipulates that the governor, secretary of state, and treasurer must be male. In Ohio only men may serve as arbitrators in county court proceedings. In Wisconsin barbers are licensed to cut men’s hair and women’s hair, but cosmeticians may attend to women only.
Note the lack of interest in the current sine qua non of feminism… abortion. The focus is largely on wage and legal parity. She does however raise and dismiss the bathroom question.
Final horrible. Rest rooms in public places could not be sex separated. Emphatically not so, according to the amendment’s proponents in Congress, who were amused at the focus on the “potty problem.” Apart from referring to the constitutional regard for personal privacy, they expressed curiosity about the quarter from which objections to current arrangements would come. Did the people who voiced concern suppose that men would want to use women’s rest rooms or that women would want to use men’s?
Ironically, RBG lived just long enough to see an answer to her question as to why men would ever want to use women’s rest rooms.
Support for the ERA is now reducible to having men in the ladies’ room.
The President of the USA has no constitutional role in the amendment process.

I actually don’t care about this issue at all. Women, for the most part, vote for the people who craft and implement these policies. It will end when they start voting against politicians who support this bullshit.

Former President Bill Clinton said Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” that he was open to discussing a potential preemptive pardon for his wife Hillary Clinton with President Joe Biden.
Co-host Sunny Hostin said, “Do you think it would be wise of President Biden to preemptively pardon any potential targets? What about your wife, Hillary Clinton? She apparently is on Kash Patel’s list.”
Clinton said, “They’ve got a problem with her because first, she didn’t do anything wrong. Second, she followed the rules exactly as they were written. Third, Trump’s State Department — Trump’s State Department — found — remember how the emails were such a big issue in 2016? Trump’s State Department found that Hillary sent and received exactly zero classified emails on her personal device. It was a made-up phony story.”
It all boils down to making us one Marxist, homogenous mass of humanity without distinction or difference. Wise men have noticed and chronicled the cycles of civilization and have labelled the progression of stages. Moral and political anarchy herald the collapse.

I remember back when the ERA was being proposed and voted on. One of the objections to its passage was that it would lead to men using the ladies’ room. Proponents laughed at and belittled that concern; but lo and behold, that’s exactly what we are seeing today.
Let them bring their own pots.
I don’t care what anyone thinks of what I have to say but as awful as some ladies rest rooms are, its nothing compared to sharing with men. Men in trousers or men in skirts. Ever enter a uni-gender restroom after a typical male has been there?
Please! Cleaning up at home after males is quite enough and they’re family.
Yes, women’s bathrooms are filthier than men’s. I learned that as a 17 year old when I was a busboy at a crappy restaurant.
I don’t know about cleaning up after men, though. I only clean up after chicks so I have no comparison.
