Something you can usually give Sen. Schumer credit for is being slick. That can be an asset in D.C., but in 2025, slick senate operators who know how to work the levers of power are not as in demand in either party as they used to be. With only 7% strong approval, no one, including Dems, like their party much, and even fewer like their leadership. Sen. Schumer, who works better as a backstage operator, is a terrible messenger for the product on a national level and to the base. Now his time has come.
The CR was a tough choice for Republican fiscal hawks, but it was an even tougher one for Sen. Schumer who had a choice between a government shutdown and keeping the government going. Schumer decided that a government shutdown wasn’t the way to reboot the Dems, but much of his party’s activist base disagrees.
In the past, congressional Republicans were terrified of a government shutdown because they would be blamed for it, but the Trump administration is clearly not worried about that kind of popularity contest. They kept going and Schumer blinked. Now the Dems want his head. Schumer has argued that the failure of the resolution would have given Trump even more power, but nobody in his party’s crazies really care.
This puts Sen. Schumer’s political career on track for a cliff. The question is who’s going to replace him in the Senate. And how long until he faces a serious primary challenge from the Left?
There was a time when Dems and their media warned that only irresponsible madmen would go ahead with a government shutdown. Now, just as dissent has become patriotic again, so have government shutdowns.
Apparently, what Democ-rat muckamuck Chuck Schumer said of the shadowy intelligence community (CIA , FBI, etc.) also applies to the unintelligent wing (is there any other?) of his own “woke” party: “Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.” It looks like the feckless senate majority leader is about to be bitch-slapped by apparatchiks in his own party. Maybe the CIA will save him.

Having failed at trying to present himself as a regular American who loves to barbecue, but who does obviously love treif, he’s rebranded as the author of a book that he most likely did not write; just like he most likely didn’t write his Netanyahu speech in which he mispronounced the name of Israeli finance minister Smotritch as Smotrick, twice. Do you think he is supposed to run in a primary against AOC? What democrat doesn’t want AOC? Time for Chuck, the elder statesman, to hand over the reins of government to the next generation, to keep their ‘dream’ alive.

Yes, the D-Bags and their Minitrue Media are definitely pandering to their “woke” base by declaring Alexandra Ocrazio Cretin as the party’s leader…..three years too early. But we can all count on a CNN poll to represent public opinion rather than manipulate it, right?

By acquiescing to the republicans on the CR to keep the government open, Schumer has been branded a pariah by the democrat cultists and their ancillary organization, the rainbow cult aka, “the rainbow mafia.”

Schumer has always been a loyal Democrat and that has always secured his hold as a leader in the Senate. He will remain as Minority Leader until at least 2027, despite the caterwauling of the rabid young.
It couldn’t happen to a nicer lizard-man and I hope it does, no matter how equally scummy his replacement would bound to be.
Chucky Chitauri was on the Minitrue Media just today and snirked his trademarked reptile sneer/smirk about the outrage over his vote not to “shut down” the government from the “woke” contingent of the Dirtbagocrat party and the even more “woke” left-wing fringe of American moonbats who control them. He tried to dismiss the RINOs too and boasted he’s “very good at getting reelected.” Even the alphabet channel troll host countered by telling him that the D-Bags aren’t exactly influential right now.
I guess Shmucky and the “woke” wing of the D-bags better keep chanting their top two latest false memes: “Trump, Musk and their theocratic allies are making America an oligarchy of the rich and for the rich. The Dirtbagocrat party is the party of the people.”

By most accounts, Chucky Chitauri is a smart guy. He scored 1600 on his SAT and was awarded an Ivy League scholarship. His constant appeals to the base emotions of his constituents is calculated. He knows his base are retards who shun facts and logic and are controlled by their emotions, so his speeches and statements to the Minitrue Media sound stupid but are actually the product of cold reptilian instinct.
For once, the dumb emotionalism of the woketards and his other constituents is working against him, and all I can say is Ha HAW! Catch a fly on your tongue and smack your thin lips, chameleon boy. I bet it tastes like its last meal: a pile of shit.

Chuck knows there’s no way to blame this one on the GOP, so a shutdown at this time is a losing proposition for the party. It’s the same CR they passed a few months ago, and even the msm can’t spin it to anybody but their looney base. That base is dragging the party off a cliff, with their 10 and 20% issues that the overwhelming majority of the country disagrees with. and their embrace of violence.
One interpretation of this is that the dems intend to move further to the left than they already are. They are losing voters from every demographic but it matters not to those currently in charge of the democrat party. They view America through a very narrow prism with blinders on. That being the case, they have a distorted perception of reality.
The evidence is growing that shows that the erstwhile democrat party is now a political cult. Schumer is finding out that it is an intolerable heresy to not strictly hew to the tenets of their neo-Marxist dogma/screed.
